Aloha Lynn❣️although I was born & raised in Hawaii, I never learned hula except for May Day Programs as a keiki so I knew how to kaholo (vamp) & that’s it 😳 So through the blessings of your videos I have been able to brush up on the little I knew. I can hit replay over & over till I get it. Your pleasant smile on these videos makes it fun & encouraging. Not only are you teaching us hula but also the most important thing in life..to put your priorities in order whatever it may be. Lynn, Thank you so much for posting your Hula videos. I lived in Hawaii for over 6 years as my husband was stationed at Fort Shafter and was a Company commander at the time. I never had the time to learn hula on the Island and so grateful for the time that you have taken to teach. I am now 60 years old, my children are all grown up, and your teaching has really helped strengthen my knees ( especially) and I never knew how strong I was (Or weak) until I began taking your lessons. I usually do first thing in the morning and after supper. My husband is so used to seeing you every day that you are a welcome addition to our family, with you on tv surrounded by the artwork of Kim Taylor Reece in our living room! You have also inspired me to buy a live Hisbiscus plant! Mahalo for all that you do, God Bless, and until we meet as well!

I used to dance hula and have been look for a way to return to it because I now live in a state that doesn't have it anywhere. You are a beautiful dancer and very good teacher. You are easy to follow and dance with. I wish I was back in Hawaii. It's been way too long since I've been there. See you dance reminds me of the warm winds which I love there.

I’m very sorry I found you during these Difficult times facing Maui’s Biggest Ever Disaster. We respect the difficult tasks going forward. First after rescue they need to find the cause, so in the future before any fire comes they need a earlier Alert to help staff & children after school with parents to go home to a leveled home. Please help Maui. You can go thru the Maui Fire department & the Police for maui help finding missing family members. This is still a very sad case for families finding one another. In some cases people didn’t make it out before fire. They had seconds.

Aloha Lynn! I was so disappointed to see this-but I truly understand! I started doing the series late last year but then I had to take a break because I had total knee replacement surgery. I’m back now (that’s why I’m selfishly disappointed) I will continue to practice with all the existing videos. I will also practice Hawaiian language with Duolingo. Hi I love you work. I have a question. I use to dance hula. But I got really sick at one point in life. And it affect the mobility of my arm and can’t straight it anymore. Is there a hula I can do to accommodate with my arms?
