This song came to me again today and it hit me all again. I don’t know if you can feel this type of longing in this song for a place but I feel it for Lahaina.

This is the first song my mother taught me when I was 5 and learning to play her '62 Gibson D8 Grand Console. Her and my Dad played gospel and Hawai'ian songs at church. I really love this rendition. I knew Tia could sing, but DAMN! this was just so heartfelt. Too bad I was on a mobilization in 2008/09 when they sung this at the Grammy's, but glad I came across it while looking for Seabreeze and some other tunes.
