nice fooling of people, of course car can take of rollers, if it slip it off at rollers. Next time hold wheels center on rollers.😁😁

@@4x4.tests.on.rollers i think Volvo in the end, slow down, steer right, get off rollers, dont see torque on free wheel at all, is moved by wheels that got off the rollers,watched last few seconds of video many times, by the way please test audi Allroad A6 C5 with manual transmission and Low Range, i have one also,but no rollers, it have much more agressive EDS and ABS to cope with increased torque while low range reduction is turned on and it work on lower speed
@@gbenes Nope. Volvo got out due to major increase of pressure on the clutch-pack, watch the live OBD data. Slight movements of steering wheel are necessary to keep the car on rollers, we did video showing that.
When it comes to Allroad with low range - yes, we know it has more aggressive EDL and actually a diff lock but it's hard to find it for the test...

I can't speak for the Allroad. But I own one of those Volvos, and they are just insane. I've driven various 4x4s, in trucks and SUVs, and Subaru AWD. None of them touch it.

Volvo with HALDEX is better in my opinion

Are you sure the situation of the Audi ? I have an Allroad 2003 2.5 TDI I also use in off-road it is such a good car. One times I was stuck in mud with three wheels when I close the esp and Airmatic in level 4 the car exit from there easily.
If you were stuck in mud then the grip difference between each wheel wasn't that big, that's different situation.
Czy Volvo było w trybie "W"? Bo wydaje mi się, że w momencie uślizgu kół ta opcja ruszania na śliskiej nawierzchni pomaga znacząco.
Nie, nie używaliśmy trybu W, nie wiem nawet, czy ten egzemplarz takowy posiada. Możliwe, że jakoś by pomógł, aczkolwiek tryb ten chyba opiera się głównie na delikatnym dozowaniu momentu.
Moim zdaniem w trybie W (winter) zwyczajnie rusza z 2 biegu

I would like to see Skoda Octavia A5 4x4 with TDI engine on the test :) it is also haldex but 2.gen. i think ...I am driving it for 3 years and I am very safisfied by its performance...you can also see it on my channel :D I will try to make few more videos with my Skoda because winter is coming :D

Co do samego testu Audi, to ważny jest tu nie tylko torsen, ale przede wszystkim układ EDL.

So surprised about the fact Haldex diff is able to give more power to just a wheel than Torsen one, I expected the opposite as coupling may provide less power to the wheels than Torsen. Volvo is a Haldex 2 right? This makes me wonder about performance about Torsen vs Viscous Coupling as this should be less "smart", I guess would be "on middle" as rear wheels will not be able to push the car.
Haldex can lock both axles together, torsen can't do that so that makes the biggest difference in such situations. Volvo from this test has haldex 3. Here's the comparison with other Volvo XC70, equipped with viscous coupling: th-cam.com/video/UYP26jFqdPc/w-d-xo.html
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers thanks! Quite interesting. So in case of Audi it's Torsen central diff and open diff in front and rear, right? I ask this as it seems like the car is trying to push power when it's using a wheel (perhaps a more advanced ESP) but in case of the 2001 xc70 I can't appreciate that "pushing".
@@luigivm All three cars have front and rear open diffs, Audi has torsen B center diff. The problem with visco is that it requires quite a lot of front to rear speed difference to send more torque to the back. Brake intervention at rear axle decreases that speed difference so overall torque transmitted by visco goes down. With haldex you may watch live parameters and see how oil pressure increases.
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers I had this 2001 XC70. It was good for nothing. Have such a ramping road at the village and could climb it (it was slippy). Next car, Mitsubishi Outlander II '2007 (Haldex 3 ?) with electronical 4WD locking - it was climbing same hillside as a Hummer :)
@@SilentWarriorEU That's a difference between reactive awd (visco in 2001 XC70) and proactive/full time awd in Outlander (it uses electromagnetic coupling - EMCD from GKN Driveline, not haldex).

Nie ma. Napęd osi tylnej odprowadzony jest od osi przedniej, więc taki test nie ma sensu.

Turns out that Haldex AWD is comparatively weak than Torsen because Haldex rear axle power is no more than 50% in maximum
Torsen B dynamic torque split is from ~75/25 to ~25/75.
Haldex dynamic torque split is from 100/0 to 0/100 (max static is 50/50).
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers I see, but there's a big shortage og Haldex, the clutch can overheat sometimes while torsen not.

Опять взяли ушатанный алород. Один и тот же во всех роликах. Торсен работает по преднатягу. Если активно давать газ, то момент перераспределиться очень быстро, а если плавно педалировать то ничего не произойдет(как на видео). +есп работает корректо, когда работают тормоза, а тут какие то проблемы. В очередной раз только позорите машину

Так в принципе ролик правдивый....Смысла нет сравнивать Торсен, который механический и переживет ядерный взрыв и Халдексом, который управляется электронным блоком, имеет свой насос и фильтр с кучей гемора.Было бы странно если бы он работал хуже....Я обычно на своем аллроуде создаю преднатяг ручником...Была идея поставить второй торсен в задний мост от ауди V8 1991-1994 года, сделав честную блокировку межколесного дифа, но решил, что и так достаточно, попутно подняв наддув на 1.1 избытка...тем более аллроуд вне этих катков на любой дороге этот шведский гробовоз раздавит как боженька черепаху

Finding such a car for the test will not be easy....There are such cars in Russia, whose owners have gone to this alteration, probably there are in other places, since such information has come across on English-language websites...
To jest tak logiczne. Kierowca w audi dawał dużo więcej gazu na starcie. A Volvo delikatnie delikatnie. Sam mam allroad i doładowanie z takim Volvo przeciągłym linę i Volvo nic nie miało do gadania. Pozdrawiam
Nie, to nie jest logiczne. Jak w Audi dodasz delikatnie gazu, to EDL w ogóle nie zareaguje i stoisz. Przeciąganie liny nie mówi kompletnie nic o układach awd.
No tak audi najlepsze nie? Cztery pierścienie robią na podsterowności wrażenie
