making cloud crawl to her was a whole other level of pain :( it also parallels cloud crawling to sephiroth in nibelheim... i love the parallels they make between sephiroth and aerith and how they both represent complete opposite things both in the story but also in cloud's life.
1:45 this music makes me sadder than Aerith theme in final scene

I remember this being similar to the ending of Advent Children and Cloud's Smiles theme. Aerith is so close at the beginning; after a long journey, she is getting farther and farther away from Cloud. 😭😭 So sad to see Aerith doing all these things to make it right without telling the party what she's up to.

I went through all 7 disc tracklist and I couldn't find anything about the Sleeping Forest. The song that plays here is so beautiful ❤

they'll put out an Original Soundtrack Plus at some point with the "b-sides" and such. though in this case they cut so much material it's a lot of A-sides on there, too.

Could definitely feel the emotional distress cloud was feeling
IMO they should have extended the crawling scene.
It’s a parallel to the beginning of the game on how Sephiroth slaughtered the villagers.
They should embrace the lack of subtlety.
Even the whispers, everything is painting a picture where Aerith is the light and Sephiroth is the darkness!
