I've always loved have Vincent as my character when you get him on your team, but I have never hated him more until having to actually fight him. WTF, he is so freaking hard.

This is one of the best versions of Aerith's theme, and its very easy to miss it with all the ambient sound in Event Square. A lot of delicate touches to it that the other versions dont have.

I don't get it... the originals were incredible, there were several tracks from Remake that actually did a good job of bringing them up to date. But Rebirth? It's terrible. They've managed to make every OG track bad. How? Man, fuck these "remakes", give me the original any day.

Masterpiece

I so wish that i can play this game with muted voices. It makes the soundtrack much more impactful. The voice work is amazing don't get me wrong, but this method of gameplay brings so much homage to the original experience. Your interpretation to how each iconic character sounds should be unspoiled.

i need this on spotify so bad. When this song came on during my first playthrough, i stopped and said "holy shit this game is amazing" it was like a realization that i was only going to experience this for the first time and i had to appreciate it all while it was happening. such an incredible game.

2:20 is what always gets me. i consider this track to be the most emotionally powerful one by far of the whole OST because of what it conveys. cloud is broken. the whole party is, but really, cloud especially because of how disconnected he is from reality at this point. this track and the part of it that i highlighted is what captures such a dark and foreboding feeling of isolation and sadness in the form of the impending grief that is yet to come. cloud at this point thinks everything is okay. he thinks aerith is with us. this is the most broken he's ever been mentally, and all we can do as the player is watch him in this false state of satisfaction. it's uncomfortable. the whole party is uncomfortable. what jenova is doing to cloud's mind is cruel in a way words can't quite describe, but i think this song paints the picture vividly.

When I played Rebirth for the first time and I experienced this part I was covered in goosebumps all the way from my scalp to my legs. Having played OG many times during my teenage years - it was the best nostalgic musical bomb to my face I've ever had.

What makes this track so amazing is that the regular non battle theme your waiting to hear the iconic bell but it’s not in there at all but then when you enter the battle theme that’s where they use the iconic bell from the og track shit gave me goosebumps of nostalgia soon as it kicked in
