The 204PS CUPRA Leon e-HYBRID is the next stage of the brand’s electrification. At its centre is a 150PS (110kW) 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine, linked to a 115PS (85kW) electric motor with power stored in a 13kWh lithium-ion battery pack. In combination the system provides 204PS (150kW) of peak power and 350Nm of torque.
And when pace isn’t a necessity the driver can use the vehicle’s electric-only range of up to 63km based on the official WLTP test cycle to glide through urban streets. When the battery needs recharging, it can be done in as little as three and a half hours using a 3.6kW Wallbox (or around five hours from 230V domestic plug).
Thanks to its mix of combustion and electric, tailpipe emissions are just 26-29g/km based on the WLTP.
Available in both 5-door and Sportstourer, the 204PS CUPRA e-HYBRID joins the 245PS e-HYBRID variant and enters production this week at the brand’s Martorell headquarters.
It’s an important milestone for the standalone brand, bringing CUPRA’s number of plug-in hybrid vehicles to six: two CUPRA Leon 5-Door, two CUPRA Leon Sportstourer and two CUPRA Formentor options (204PS and 245PS).

Great review!!! I just bought the Cupra Leon sportstourer eHybrid… Not only based on this review, but it was still part of the decision making! I was torn between Skoda Octavia IV RS, VW Passat GTE and the Cupra Leon sportstourer… Cupra was, by far, the best (IMO) car of the 3 and crazy value for money!!! I won’t get it before late august, but soooooo looking forward to it! So thanks man!!!

So what's been your experience with this car?
Switched from a C-class T model (S205) to a normal Seat Leon Sportstourer...positively surprised how good it actually is. Especially how solid it feels. The C Class had acoustic windows and was somewhat quiter on highers speeds, but the Seat is has a well balanced sound signature, which never gets on the nerves. The chassis is firm but doesn't have the bad handling of small imperfections that the C Class had...overall Im very impressed by what is possible in this class, compared to a few years ago.

Hello, I just bought a Leon CUPRA 150hp. I was able to see it but not test drive it. I currently had a 2020 Seat Ibiza. Is the Leon CUPRA well soundproofed? Because I like not to hear too much from the outside. Thanks
The sound insulation is good 👍
Just ordered mine also, however i will say that the Pilot assist ,Blind spot monitoring are in a Cupra Pack extra so you may need to think about whether you need this, because of the shortages of these cars i could be waiting for up to 8 weeks Dam(

I ordered in March 2021 I'm still waiting for like 14 months. 8 Weeks would be a dream. May my car is delivered in the next 3 weeks

How is it compared to the Seat Leon ehybrid? Is it worth the extra money or will the Seat do just fine?
It is very similar Bjarke. It is more sporty and look much better in opinion...Depend on your preferences

Great question Bjarke. Hard choice there are many good ev cars out there. But are a few that I like very much. AUDI Q4, Ioniq 5, Model 3 and S, ID4, Skoda Enyaq iV, EQA also Mustang mach e it is nice.....one of those .....even for me is hard....😁🤭I will go with the bigger range

I have never about this car . We don't have it's here in South Africa.
i can import it for u.. 5 dollars a min. it will take 8 hours which means 24.000 dollars + import and export and service and insurance = 56.780 dollars + the cars price. i can send it to u right now RIGHT NOW
