  • Ever wanted to play your phones music through your carts audio system? Ever wanted hands free mobile phone ability? Here is what I consider to be a super detailed walkthrough of how to remove the radio unit, and add an Aux in/out cable to allow just that. Here is where I bought mine.. just pop the words "Smart 451 Aux Cable" ... into Amazon

Nice video, for anyone after a cleaner finish, you can run the cable behind the stereo and through a cavity leading to the passengers footwell, it’s simple and then the cable is out of sight.

Just a suggestion, after I watched this video I took maybe a 2” x 4” piece of cardboard and folded,it down the middle,to make a V then folded one end to close it then slid it in under the screw with the closed back behind the screw then unscrewed the screw and let it drop into the cardboard and pulled it out. I didn’t reinstall the screw since it doesn’t need one because the faceplate is so tight.
