@@kionsedale6686 Just because Hasbro says they're connected doesn't make it true. TFP literally contradicts the games and the writers said that they didn't want to be connected with the games. Anyone who watched TFP and played WFC/FOC have realized this. Hasbro tried to connect them with books and comics but failed miserably because entire plotpoints, characters, and events contradict the Cybertron games.

The aligned continuity is pretty much a whole mess with several plot contradictions and inconsistencies. Biggest one being that Soundwave was still speaking in the games when he's supposed to be silent.

Dinobots, Combaticons, Metroplex, hell do you guys even notice that the keys to the Omega Lock actually is a copy of the 'False' Omega key Megatron took from Zeta Prime! Which also makes it kinda awkward how Megatron in TFP doesn't recognize it being the Omega Key, since the fight after Zeta Prime was where Megatron really almost got himself killed by Omega Supreme.
Context: In the transformers video game War for Cybertron, Trypticon was defeated and captured by the autobots. Later on in the sequel, fall of Cybertron, Megatron "saves" Trypticon. But Megatron reminds him of his failure to destroy the autobots, so Megatron only "saved" him just to have him forcefully transformed against his will into the Nemesis warship. Which Soundwave comments that the transformation is permanent because Trypticon's T-cog was destroyed. As for why Megatron doesn't recognize Trypticon in Prime, that's mostly a writing issue since there's a ton of inconstancy and contradiction in the aligned continuity.
This reminds me, in a Transformers Prime Crossover Fanfic the author added that the reason why Nemesis/Trypticon is so single-mindedly focused on finding those artifacts (after putting all the inhabitants of the ship into stasis), is he hopes one of them can fix his T-cog or at least have him regain his ability to transform again.
What Lorennzo says about TFOne being part of the Bayverse is the same reason the Aligned Continuity is a mess. It is a bunch of TF series trying their own wya but being forced to behave as if part of one plotline.
I know that TFP and FOC are supposed to be connected, but even with this, there are too many inconsistencies and continuity errors for ANY connection between them to make any kind of sense, and fun fact: the writers for TFP specifically wrote the show to be distinct from any other continuity even though they were told by Hasbro executives to connect it to FOC and WFC, the people behind the show were kind of assholes
They probably expected to get their own show like the Animated guys did, only to be hit with a memo from Corporate that they'll have to play second fiddle to the Video Games team and follow their lead, which made them throw a bitchfit. Which isn't that surprising, imagine coming onto a project from a series that's been a heavy Comics and Cartoon juggernaut for the last 30 years, only to be told that the project is going to be headed by the C and D Team (Vidja and Books) because their respective industries print more money than God and the only reason you're there is because it's a tradition to have an animated show accompany a new toyline.
@@richardwulf1122 Honestly that's giving them too much credit, that wasn't the only blunder the TFP team made, they also wasted all of their budget and then some by hiring too many expensive voice actors, it ended up costing them so much money they had to cancel other shows on the same network as TFP, and bring the staff from said shows to work on Transformers Prime
