Looking for a midlayer, either a merino wool or a grid fleece. Need something for hiking mountains in extreme winters or cold days. Im wondering, if this is good for active wear, or is it more for less active wear.
In situations where it's cold enough that you need a midlayer, I think this works quite well. I imagine some people will prefer a thinner/lighter midlayer, but it all depends on the temperature and your exertion level. It's also great to sleep in on colder nights.
I reckon they're a good thrift. If you're lucky they're sold as a normal hoodie. I've got a few IceBreaker bargains so far including from the outlet store far less than 30-50 euro equivelent.

I've had the realfleece hoody similar to this for about 12 years and never had a tearing issue. Very warm and cozy.
That's weird but good to hear. Indeed super nice to wear!

This was super helpful, thanks! the choppiness did give me a bit of a headache though 😅
were you shooting with the shutter speed double the frame rate?
My guess is the disk in my Atomos recorder was a bit too slow for the codec.
Sorry for the headache 😅
I’m guessing that this is not the one that’s avail now, which people say is worse than thus one (& I just ordered). We’ll see.
