@@anthonysmith4072 it’s ridiculously warm! I’ve contacted Vollebak about a warmth comparison of this one to the new one and this one will keep you warmer than the new version by 10°C. Not to say that the new version won’t keep you warm, but my version does a little better job of that. The one in my video does not have the waterproof membrane. With just a flannel underneath this puffer will keep you warm in pretty much any situation IMO. Unless you are living in eastern Siberia, this puffer will have you covered. It’s hard to beat.
Hi, I have seen your reviews on the Vollebak garments. I like a lot of what I have read, then tried the puffer vest. It was too large, so I sent it back. I have watched other reviewers, some people have said they have issues with the jackets. Than you.
Thanks for watching! Yeah the puffer vest definitely runs big. I ended up sending my size small puffer vest back and getting an XS. I like that one better. I can’t say anything about other folks’ issues. I can only comment on my own experiences. Did you have a specific issue you had a question about?
@@shawnsgear Hello. On real issues other than sizing. Being based in the UK, I have used the medium for years. I am 38 chest, my height is 5.9 down by half an inch over the past 30 years. Most of my outdoor stuff is old, worn out...The Vollebak philosophy, lasts a lifetime fits my lifestyle. If it lasts my lifetime, it could fit into my son's...
@@RSLtreecare Yeah, you just have to read their descriptions carefully. Their items are listed as having a “loose” or “regular” fit. You definitely want to consider a size down for the loose fit stuff (sometimes two sizes). When in doubt you can email them and request measurements of the specific item you are interested in and then compare those measurements to an item you already own. Another option is to buy the same item in two sizes and return the one that doesn’t fit. I know that’s no fun, but unfortunately it’s the nature of purchasing things online.
Hi, thanks for the video ;) Wondered (cause i'm gonna buy one) how tall are you because you said u have à S but it's sizes large. I'm 170cm so i'm hesitating to get an XS ...
@@shawnsgear Great ! So ... hehehe i'll probably fall for it ;) Searching around ... looking for something strong and really hot cause i'm working outside and i HATE cold xD. Thanks a lot for your answers.
@@realtempo1 of course. Glad to help! I don’t think you will find a stronger puffer jacket. At least not one that is this warm. With the new one you have the added waterproof feature as well. I will be curious to hear your thoughts! I have purchased quite a few pieces during this sale they are having. A great time to stock up!
🎉🎉🎉 awesome! Probably the one and only video on this puffer on the entire TH-cam!
Thank you and keep’em coming Shawn 😊
Thanks so much Alexander! Really appreciate that man. Gonna be working to make better videos in the future! I learned a lot from rewatching this one 😊
Been watching puffer jacket reviews. First I've heard of this brand. Thanks for the video.
Of course! Glad to help!
I Googled indestructible Jacket and this popped up.
Then I Googled Indestructible Puffer Vollebak Review and this popped up.
Awesome review, thanks man
Thanks for the feedback, Anthony! Glad to help!
@@shawnsgear is it warm? It’s got a fill power of 430+ and a fill weight of 640 grams. Not spectacular numbers but maybe the membrane helps??
