Easily the best Image ongoing title. I'm not going to upgrade from my single issues, but seeing this overview is definitely tempting me.
Monstress and Saga are both ongoing so I’m gunna take this as super high praise and it excites me very much.
I can't wait to get mine. Easily the best indy series of the last few years. I was blown away from issue 1 and it's been on my pull list since. I encourage anyone who is a fan or horror, or just good storytelling, to pick this up. There aren't enough comics that are single issue stories in this day and age but this is one of them.
How long are the issues? Do they ever feel too short?
Love the sundae edition. Got lucky that my brick and mortar had it on new comic day. Binding looks a little iffy on my first issue but besides that I’m very happy with it.

This book has probably been one of the best titles on the rack for several years. I’ve been collecting it in single issues since #1 and it’s the only current comic I still pull. But it is existential horror. Everything else about it is superfluous window dressing and just there to facilitate the book having a title and a vehicle or reason to tell anthology stories. If you’re the kind of person that has a compulsion to find a reason or purpose or draw an overarching ongoing plot from something you’re reading, you’re going to be pulling at nothing and ultimately missing the point of this book. There is no rhyme or reason. Nothing is supposed to make sense in Ice Cream Man. Nothing matters. It’s what the book is trying to say. What it’s trying to make set in. Nothing matters. There’s no overarching narrative. There’s no eternal reward. All you have are the moments in the here and now. They can be missed. They can be wasted. They can be taken from you too soon. Each of these anthology stories is an exploration in existentialism. It’s about the horror, fear, and suffering all of us feel in varying doses throughout our life. Those little real life things you fear every day. A car accident. Cancer. Losing a loved one. Selfish indulgence. Missed or wasted opportunities. Divorce. Abuse. The downfall of humanity. The hopelessness of it all. It’s not a boogey man book. These things are all conveyed through exaggerated horrifying means, but they have such relatable resonance and impact. That’s what makes it one of the best. It’s not a fun read, but if you want something very fresh and very human, I implore you to read Ice Cream Man.

I wonder if they'll collect "Haha" in the second volume or as a separate deluxe edition? I remember reading somewhere that they're set in the same universe.
I only read the ICM №01 issue but I already know that this is potentially a next gen Sandman. As usual image makes beautiful deluxe editions so this deluxe edition + Firepower + Echolands are must haves

Although I love this series, I have all TPB up to current issues. I was not going to get this......but it does look pretty sweet. I to thought it was plain blue. Dig the shiny

I bought ice cream man vol 1 just to try it out and I fell in love with it. Now I want to buy the rest, is this the one I would buy to have as many issues as possible?

I've ordered and am waiting for nailbiter vol 1&2. Can't get into the sandman(weird because I like nightmare country). Based on this, do you have any suggestions? I'm super picky and have trouble finding new books. 🤷
Great looking book, Image do quality OHC’s. I haven’t read any of this series, just wondering if there is mistreatment to animals, how disturbing would it be to pet lovers? I like horror books but that would be a deal breaker for me. Thanks Omar!
Hey, I love this series and definitely recommend it, but there is a fair amount of graphic animal (and person) death in it. So if that’s a no-go for you then probably not.
