I can't stop listening to this song. Hearing a song like this feels like revisiting an old friend of mine, as Placebo's music has been in my life since I was 12 year old boy, back in 2006. Their music has been both in the darkest and highest points of my life, and this song brings me an unexplainable joy, but it also brings me back to those naive times of me taking the bus to high school in those cold mornings without wanting to go there, having uncertainty and feeling like I was never going to escape the hole that high school was for me. It feels great to hear this song as an adult now, with a lump in my throat, being in a much better place than I was at that time. I just want to thank Placebo for being such an inspiration in my life.
This made me cry because it was exactly what I was going through and it is wxactly what I feel now. Thank you.

There is a special place for Placebo. I am a nurse and I think their music is as powerful and therapeutic as any counselling session or medication for many people. That is some achievement! People praise me for 30+ years of practice, but I absolutely value musicians for their ability to lift mood, motivate, relieve, reassure, encourage, normalise, and just help people. I salute you Placebo!

"I don't want to wake you. Though I might have to..." It feels like looking at your son, or yourself when you were young... James is a gorgeous little soul who deserves rest from this crazy world, but sometimes we have to wake up and face reality to move on. To keep growing... Thank you Placebo. Like many in here, you have been around my life since I was a teenager and I cannot thank you enough for how much your music has helped me. For how much has helped us!

There’s definitely something addictive about this song. Not sure if it’s the melancholy of the lyrics or his voice but I can’t stop listening to it.
They have a very unique sound, it's just mezmerizing, with the magical vocals put a spell on the listener, it's just that good.

my uncle introduced me to placebo music. I was about 12 years old, for me, it was something new, enticing, like a breath of fresh air. Brian's vocals remain the most melodic for me, the songs of this band after years cause me the same emotions as before, again and again. I'm 21, my uncle recently left this world, I listen to this song and tears come to my eyes. he loved this band so much and will never hear their new songs. thank you placebo for being there.

I've never written a comment before, but here I can't keep quiet. I want to say thank you to the band Placebo for this beautiful composition that greeted my return from the other side of the world. It was in the fall of 2021 that I survived a major surgery and barely made it out of intensive care...

The love of my life and I shared a love for Placebos music. We had many years of very good memories and were able to see them live together in MN, USA on Oct 14th, 2014. Unfortunately, I was not the love of her life and we broke up 6 years ago. I still love her, but she will not talk to me. As wonderful as this song is, hearing it breaks my heart all over again. :(

My first impression on the first listen is that the lyrics feel like the recent albums but the sound and Brian's voice have a feel to the earlier ones. You can feel that but it is still something different from past eras! Such melancholia that brings you excitement at the same time. Always with Placebo

Listen up young people .. the best band in the lates 90s and 2000s to the present is this band. A totally surreal band who gets it right with their music , their ability to deliver over decades … if you are not listening you don’t know music … James is beautiful … but placebo is beautiful on both the inside and out …. The magnificent music on this song talks to me about distant long summer days in the arms of my young girlfriend, when I used to be innocent and the sun felt different...Back when I could drive to the park and I would find my friends playing soccer under the same sun...Back when my father called me to dinner...Back when highschool was my biggest problem. Pure melancholy, driving you trough the most beautiful landscape of light that life once was. I think the world mostly remains the same...but has less under the light for me.

they were a company during the most tragic and sad years of my life, i was always certain that it was a light at the end of the tunnel with their songs. now that i've healed all the wounds and grown up, hearing their new music is like a self-reminder that i've was strong enough to stay alive, thank you guys, for being such an inner force that i didn't know i needed.

I love this song so so much! My husband James is a professional guitar player and he has insomnia. I call him “Beautiful James” and it’s always when he is falling asleep or waking up. He’s starting a new band soon. Hopefully doing what he loves again will help him sleep better. He loves the song also.

I learned about Placebo back in 2011, when I was 12. I grew up with this band and I am so thankful that I lived to see another piece by them after their last album 8 years ago. This is the only band I always come back to and have such fond memories of because their music had truly been with me through the worst and best times in my life. I hope I get to see them perform this live one day.

Amazing! Sometimes when old bands come back after a long time, specially if they sound the same, I have trouble reconnecting with them as a lot of times I have evolved and the world has moved on...
