It’s like Brooks finally arrived at the PEBA party at Nike’s house and found it was clearing out already, with everyone headed to the TPU/TPEE after party at Adidas house
Honestly I was disappointed when New Balance moved away from their TPU midsole in their fuelcell formulation to a PEBA/EVA based blend. The rebel v3 was perhaps one of my favorite daily trainers due to it's softness for everyday runs, but versatility to pick up the pace for workouts. It was also highly durable for me.
Bro it's still cold here, had to run yesterday in 12 degree weather and getting ready to go out in 19 degree after this video. Still better than a treadmill though! 💯
Love that fire graphic on the midsole... I have the Elite 1 and wore it for my fastest half marathon this last October. Can't wait to get the 2 ! I think it may be the actual first shoe that the midsole squishes like a marshmallow
1:02:06 Thank you: word of the day!! I have grown in my running and NOW I get it. I can now tell that I’m slacking on fueling. Need to get that fixed asap!
I've been hanging out for this review. I'm thinking this might be my next marathon race shoe. Loved the Endorphin Pro 3. Like the Cielo X1, but that's too heavy. Hoping this is the sweet spot.
Do you feel any discomfort when you bottom out the midsole and you feel the plate? Where do you bottom out mostly? How does it feel at a jogging pace? Is it unstable?
It does seem like brands are trying to make a push toward increasing the step-in comfort with their shoes, whether it makes them “better” or not. Trying to win the “brick and mortar blind date at the running store” type of sales now that we’re solidly through the pandemic. Granted, I tend to prefer shopping online at places like RW because I love a good deal.
I have no interest in buying this shoe but I was curious to see your reaction because it's such a departure from the previous version that you really liked. I wonder how the PB Brooks racing shoes will be as far as firmness. They haven't seemed to have gotten stuck in the super soft mindset with their trainers.
is a heavier runner over 150 lbs or 175 lbs.., either way, I am at 200 lbs, so I know these shoes won't work for me. listened to this whole post over the podcast, good stuff. I hope the pod is doing decent numbers
Been realizing shoes like the adios pro 3 reaching absurd mileage like 500-600 miles while say a new balance rebel v4 only around 150 miles If this will be durable what’s stopping me from using it as a daily trainer ?
Well depends on the foam compound, but typically softer foams have shorter life span. So for example adios pro 4 won't have the same durability as the adios pro 3, despite the same midsole technology
@ I would say the 4 was more stable, but not by much. The midsole on the 4 was just boring and not very bouncy. The 3s had a the perfect balance of fun and stability for my mildly pronating, mid-foot foot strike.
Better have some strong ankles if ur looking at getting urself a pair lol. I have the version 1’s and they’ve been a great workout/race shoe because of the stability they provide with the firmness of the midsole. But if Ima get a pair, I’ll only use them for track workouts or track races because I ain’t risking breaking an ankle because I have slight to mild pronation in my feet
Sounds like another great long distance shoe like the Adidas..I suspect the manufacturers are starting to listen to the AVERAGE runners and realize most don't want a brick on their feet..many don't even care about the speed..they want running to be fun and comfortable not a suffer fest..the on is close ,the Saucony pro4 is close ,Saucony elite was not good, the puma isn't there yet ..the Adidas SL2 is nearly perfect..great show and on a -7f morning I'm envious of your foggy warmish morning..3 months until we have those..😊
The Endorphin Pro 3 was perfection for me. Fast enough, nice and softish but still stable, a rather comfy upper, in other words perfect for the hobby runner who wants to pretend he's a pro.
@remcodejong9149 the endorphin pro3 is my choice..with a better upper the hoka rocket x2 would be nearly the same..I really hate those plastic fabrics for uppers..

YOWANA COMING IN CLUTCH
Maybe Goldilocks outcome is a saucony insole in the metaspeed Sky Paris?

56:48 lol this section 😂😂😂😂
"keep it real peaceful, we're not gonna scare the europeans" deaded
I have to size up in all Saucony and Hoka's also the new AP4 Adidas
otherwise all my shoes are US11.5 but leaning towards a US12 now

Lets get it!
Hey Yowana appreciate you and all your fresh shoe content!
How much are you weighing these days at 6'2"?
Thanks 🫡 I'm around 155 to 160 lbs
@@supwell daaang I guess that's what it takes to be swift. I'm at 205 right now, gotta bring it down a bit!
Bang
Could you do a video for wide shoes in each category? Maybe get granular for mid foot and toe box pls
I have no interest in buying this shoe but I was curious to see your reaction because it's such a departure from the previous version that you really liked.

ba da boom, ba da bang!
Nice one. Regards from EU.

Bruh your accent got me realizing I got no excuse hitting my mileage week on the treadmill (crappy weather) 😂
AP4 with the boom strike insert/insole would be lights out
The Marshmallows!
Yuri the miscellaneous European is fumin.
You’re a beast bro
My hope is the Hoka cielo x1 2.0 will be bigger runner certified, I already had to cross the adios pro 4 and this off the list.😐
Does anyone what his running warehouse code is? I can’t seem to find it anywhere on supwell app
It's pinned to the top of the deals and discounts channel in the app - I can't share it publicly
What about Starva

@@Lukas-md8fp someone on reddit just did 400km on the adios pro 4 and said it is still super bouncy
Your calf muscles
When you were cleaning those shoes, I thought you were trying to call in the Mint Hill gobblers
Can you try the 361 degrees and give some review abt it
Watch out this shoe could be banned!! 😂😂
That was reviewed recently by Doctors of Running and Runnabl3
Looks like I’ll have to pick up a pair once they drop more colorways, this one is buns 😩
I still race and run workouts in my pro 3s. I tried the 4s and was not impressed. I’m scared of the non-Newtonian wacko foam
Which one is more stable? The pro 3 or 4? Thank you
@ I would say the 4 was more stable, but not by much. The midsole on the 4 was just boring and not very bouncy. The 3s had a the perfect balance of fun and stability for my mildly pronating, mid-foot foot strike.
@ I overpronate too, maybe the pro 3 is better option for overpronation?
@ the 3s definitely feel softer and more fun to me, not to mention cheaper
56:32 caught me off guard 🤣
Get to the Chopper!

1:04:15 bro why did you touch your food right after touching the bottom of your shoes 😩😂
BAAAANG!
Seems like with a shoe this different, it would take consistent running over time for your body to adjust to it.
Im in for some wide body hellcat's on my feet. Gotta have supercharger noises, like some kids LA Gear light up shoes....
Still waiting for new recipes to Supwell Kitchen channel 😢
What the heck are you talking about ! The adidas pro 4 is 🔥🚀 I just bought them and got a first 10 miles run .. they are a banger
Not for heel strikers!
👍
If this shoe might be best for 3:30-4h marathons, how does it compare to the Pro 4? Sounds like theyre in a similar time category
I do not believe for a second it's a 3:30-4:00 shoe.
Sub 3 is my guess
Im sold Yowana 😅 Mutant colorway here i come
