  • @rik8556
    @rik8556 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Being good at air rol in rings without the bal doesn’t necessary make you a star in air rol with controlling the bal in air in the game, but it sure helps to learn the fundaments like sharp turns in air.

  • @alhuachi7614
    @alhuachi7614 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    Btw take this in mind that training air rolling through ring maps helps a lot developing very solid car control but in game don't always use it whenever you go for an aerial as even if you master it perfectly you'll be losing speed cause of vectorial direction changes while air rolling. It's true professional players use it but make sure to watch tutorials on the actually practical uses of air roll.
    Edit: also as you've probably experienced already you might have noticed while air rolling in an atempt to do a double touch of the backboard you are forced to hit the ball with a specific part of the car therefore a player with solid defensive capabilities can read where the double touch is going and save It with ease (I recomend you watch pros double touching clips and slow the video speed down to break down their movements for implementing yourself).

    I’d suggest learning the way a dude named the first axiom here on TH-cam teaches it. Took me around 80 hours total to get very confident in air roll right. Basically training while holding down boost to force your brain to learn the movements. Check out his video!

    • @trviis
      @trviis ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I saw the same video and I think it’s definitely the best way to learn it. A lot of creators tell you to feather boost and only turn when the top of your car is facing you, I think that gives a false sense of progression since it limits your control and you won’t be as good as someone who has forced themself to develop muscle memory

    Hi, how did you learn that? I am trying to learn but all TH-cam videos are useless, y'all talks about muscle memory

    • @masterj_plays
      @masterj_plays  ปีที่แล้ว

      I know exactly what you mean! Everyone talks about muscle memory and you just want a straight answer on how to do it, but they're right. Get into Freeplay, hold down air roll left/right, and see what happens. Eventually you will learn how to tilt your car the way you want.

      For example I found out that holding the joystick top right while facing forward would move me to the right, so I practiced that motion.

      @@Amandeep_2007 yeah I know what it's like. I found that a lot of the time I didn't go the right way was because I held the joystick for too long, and it moves your car differently once you face backwards. I heard that you want to do more of a flick motion to adjust, helped me in the beginning.

      The intro at the start is rly outdated and funny thing is I decided just after this video to stop using that! I plan to make the intros shorter and more to-the-point cuz I tend to ramble.

      @@masterj_plays yes just start the video with simple intro dont use an intro cuz the first 10 sec is more important than the whole vid it deside if audience gonna watch the video or not [btw i like ur content keep it up]
