There's a lot of drama around the whole situation. As far as I understand, there was some kind of incident between Katie and Derrick (who I believe now goes by Nicole and uses she/her pronouns) which led to their breakup. There was some back-and-forth drama subsequently, which I'm sure you can find on tumblr or facebook. It's all a bit vague though and I don't understand the whole story.
