I saw these guys live a few months and shouted "I am standing at the precipice!" at the top of my lungs at the start of this song. I planned it in advance and it's one of my life's greatest accomplishments.
Props to the audio engineer and who ever set up/tuned the drum kit, those cymbals and drums sound heavenly!

Been 5 years and this is still one of my absolute favorite performances on AudioTree. I always come back to this.

@@systemsandhowtodestroythem474 Tom had a blood disease i think? In the song The Layers of Skin We Drag Around the lyrics "I feel like a 2.5" is about his INR. He takes medicine before to thin his blood because it clots a lot, maybe that's the reason. Anyway, he is greatly missed.
He wasn’t in the band at anymore at this point.

Juho Dahl Derek was Nicole’s birth name.
Derek is secretly nicole, then nicole maried katie, who then discovered nicole had a dick, then they divorced, and nicole got kicked of the band. Not sure where is derek now tho.
They give off such a "haunting" sound/feeling; it's indescribable but incredible.

haha, i've heard of this band a few times over the last decade or so, never checked them out because i had a radar for bands with certain names cuz i wasn't into emo noise type bands like godspeed black emperor, glad i finallly listened, this is tiiiigh, remind me of some really good shoegaze and emo, wall of delay reverb and distortion

Depends on the genre tbh for example if I go to a hatebreed or knocked loose concert I am moshing 100% but bands like modern baseball and the world is a beautiful place,I would never mosh at.
I have a weird relationship with this band. I like spoken word a la mewithoutyou, this isn't close though. This band is like all the shitty parts of my favorite genres. Drummer is dope though. Guitarist with hat/flannel is not bad.

Seriously. They need to disband and crawl back to their safe space. If they must continue this garbage, they need to at least let go of the lead singer/poet/asshole position. Also need to let go of a couple guitars since they are all horrible but one is necessary.
Mracula123 they got rid of the stupid poet fucker a while back, and I think with this kind of ambient/emo mix you would need at least 2 guitarists. However they did get rid of the guitarist with the red SG so I guess they have down sized.
