  • ESPN FC's Alejandro Moreno and Herculez Gomez join Sebastian Salazar to react to the latest comments about former LA Galaxy superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic, this time from Emiliano Insua, who didn't even play with Ibrahimovic in Major League Soccer. The guys slam Zlatan's former MLS teammates for doing all their talking now that he's gone and reflect on the AC Milan forward's behavior throughout his career, including during his stops at Barcelona and Manchester United.

Same with France. Europes most arrogant and pretentious people by nature and even they felt negative about his attitude. Which he himself questioned in an interview boiling down to simply stating that France should love him because he's like them.

That's not completely true . He played for a Mourinho team in inter he didn't have to be a commander. He just likes to win and he was serounded by players that feel the same way . if you follow all the winners they like to put everyone up to their standard. Listen to people that played with Thiery Henry, Kobe Bryant ,Jordan or any Chelsea or United players during their dominant years. They all expect so much for themselves but the teams feel the same too.
I guess in a way I blame zlatan because when he came to the MLS he should have known that the spirit doesn't exist.
I mean think about the fact that there is no relegation. How could they be motivated when they know there isn't consinquencies .

Seen him a few times he gets agitated easily and that’s why I think . They want “ heated debates” the fact that he said you guys said it isn’t new for zlatan shows how little he knows about football really . Zlatan has been “ zlatan” for years . I think
the marketing for mls should thank him he brought a lot of attention to the league. If you give your best he’ll respect you if you are honest he’ll respect you. They are trying to generate attention for the mls even after he’s gone. Zlatan could have stayed and took it easy but he went back to Italy after his injury and his age you can’t really argue with his confidence.

People don't quite understand the level of bullying that often goes on in football. I played for Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and Hull City in Youth and reserve team football. This was between 1999 and 2004. At every single club I saw bullying that wouldn't at all be tolerated in any other walk of life. A lot of footballers, psychologically, are low life people. They're from low class areas with little to no education. All they know are primitive behaviours. English football was one of the worst in this respect.
Zlatan is a bully - that's why Barca got rid of him after one season despite having paid 59 million for him. There is a huge difference between being a bully and being competitive. Messi is competitve - Iniesta is competitive - Puyol is competitive - but they were players who respected and mentored other players. Zlatan's mentality is why he lost his opportunity to win the chamions league with Barcelona. Pep just said - I don't need this guy - I'll get someone else in for the job who actually knows how to be a civilised team-mate.

    • @Skinny_Popeye

@@joblakelisbon Zlatan has an ego, no doubt, he wanted to be the alpha and that doesn't happen with messi and Iniesta around but I don't consider being challenged to give my best as bullying. If you want to win as a team you can't have some players just cruising along and I think that's what happened at galaxy. He's definitely not the mentor type for everyone but he pushes players out of their comfort zone and often you need those guys as well
