    26:53 I get what you’re saying mike, but an iso play was the best option they had late game. Doesn’t make sense for a high turnover team like the blazers to swing the ball in that situation.
    So much room for error.

      @LockedOnBlazers  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      I think I agree? I definitely agree with your logic but also they are SO bad in the half court that milking clock is basically just sacrificing potential turnovers (very likely!) for a pretty tough Ant/JG shot off the dribble (not great!). I didn't love it at the two minute mark but it made more sense on the two following possessions. It's a tough balance to strike.

I'm talking for the sake of Deni which is clearly looks like you don't care about, you don't know when or if they gonna trade Grant, so why wasting Deni's time?... and keep the "relax" to yourself, you better go and suggest that to your friends and family!

    Until simons ayton and billups are gone this team is a chore to watch and support. Thats the cold hard facts. Throw in Jody in there as well. I do believe they do something stupid at the deadline tho....IDK what yet but I suspect it will be dumb and will set this franchise even further back.

My fault, I forgot to question first yeard headcoach Billups and his obvious lack of schemes or basic knowledge on challanges etc. The data is right there in front of you. 1 game won't userp years of bullshit. Anfernee Simons assisted 5 of Shaedon Sharpe's 9 made field goals on Thursday. If you're going to be a hater, you gotta keep it current and semi-reality based to really stick the landing.

      @LockedOnBlazers i never said he didn't have those assists....even though assists are given very leniently nowdays. If you reread my comment, you will see that I questioned the obvious pass that should have been made....or attempted to. You have to try and make that pass on that situation, it's the highest % play. 10 other comments instantly refered to karma on Blazers Edge....so it's not just my "hating". If you're also trying to argue simons hasn't made it pretty abvious he is reluctant to share the ball with Sharpe....then idk what to tell you.

      Narrow vision? I think you’re using that term incorrectly here. Quit trying to sound smart, bro. 😂 You don’t ALWAYS have to have a conflicting opinion.
      In any case, Mike is just calling a spade - A SPADE.
      Until Sharpe increases his 3-pt percentage to above league average, he IS a bad shooter.

    • @catanace1741
      @catanace1741 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      He attempted almost 600 3 pointers during these games. That's enough to get a pretty accurate understanding of the type of shooter he is. his career average from 3 is ~33%, and that's probably where it will stay. It's not great, but not awful either. Not every guard has to be a 3 pointer machine.

    I’ve been hard on Simons for good reasons but I will have to say that he did a good job against Denver. He seemed to blend in with the team opposed to standing out like a sore thumb. He was a quiet assassin tonight and it was nice to see. However, I doubt that he will perform like this against the Spurs tomorrow. That has been my biggest complaint…1 good game and 5 lemons. I hope that he can prove me wrong but I seriously doubt it as 5 years as a Blazer is a big enough sample size for me.

      @chriss.3476 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@chadmerrill2636 I appreciate your ability to at least give him his nod, unlike too many of the jokers on here.
      You're certainly right, consistency has been the concern. Realistically, though, it's not really been five years as far a real sample size. It's been more like three (including this season), which is a large enough sample size to draw a fair conclusion. Last year, though, the team definitely sat players due to phantom injuries, Ant included.
      If he does get traded, I hope he goes somewhere and really balls out and shuts some of the Blazers fans up.

    Gordon played for the blazers tonight- 2 points.... Seriously ?
    Can you really evaluate blazers talent without fixing this offense ? Execution should stop any run
    Sharpe plays so chill, but still most talented. Camara not used on offense enough
    Ayton 4 blocks ? Cling must've frightened him off his az. Efficiency still trash.... cause no ball skill
    Deni played about as good as could be asked. Efficient 19 points in 21 min
    I feel bad for Reath. Fairly efficient, skilled/plays like a Evan Mobley. 3pointer. Got length, block shots... so bench him
