    Your vids are chill and you make a lot of relatable points. I just like how you are not over the top, was a nice watch. Subbed by the way.

      Thank you for the sub. Appreciate the comment as well. Yea I try to be. It works being extra for some people but honestly if it’s to much I stop watching myself.

      @@CityNinja650 it makes a huge difference. I traded it for a ninja 1000 because it got cramped after like half an hour. Kinda miss the smaller displacement bikes though. It's a different kind of fun to crank that thing as hard as it will go and not be going so fast you'll dig a deep grave

      Lol. Thank you so much. I am glad I toned down saying that. It’s not bad but sometimes I notice I say it a lot. The “Umms” too. Crazy this is like 4 or 5 months old already. I’m so sad the season is closing. But I do plan on riding in winter when I can. Thank you for the support. Really means alot. 🔥🔥🔥

    Good video. I'm currently fixing up a Ninja 650 for this season, so hopefully I get it finished in time. On another note, I noticed throughout your video you ride in the center of the lane a lot. It's encouraged to ride on the left or right 1/3rd of the lane since that is the more grippy part of the road. The center is where rocks and slippery fluids are and you're much more likely to lose traction. stay safe!

    • @CityNinja650
      @CityNinja650  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      You are absolutely right. A nice thing about making these videos is that I can see what I'm doing wrong. In my first one "test run" I noticed I would be right behind a stopped car with no escape rt. not good. Hope you get your bike fixed soon man. Thank you for the comment. Ride safe brother

    the first service can be done on your own, most of it is just inspection and if you need to adjust anything its in the owners manual. OR if you're familiar with your tools and can identify things from a diamgram, spend the extra $100 or so to get the service manual and do things yourself. you save money and you get to know your bike at the same time.
    the other tips are typically what people overlook so good job!
    great video otherwise, you got my sub. keep it up!

    • @CityNinja650
      @CityNinja650  ปีที่แล้ว

      This is all true and definitely plan on doing my own maintenance (oil changes, chain cleaning etc)This being my first bike I just went this route. But you are absolutely right. You will really get to know and understand your machine doing your own work. Glad I put out a video that has decent content to get someone with experience to sub me up. Appreciate the comment 🔥🔥🤙🤙

    Thinking about getting a 650. Not new to riding, but it's enough for what I need, and starting to get into the sport bikes a little. I'm on an electric thing now. Maybe weighs 400-450. I get blown around on windy days. We had a few warm days, last week, and I was riding at a lean half the time because of the wind. lol

    Okay, so 0 things I hadn't considered. Number 6? Hearing protection all the time. Hearing loss is subtle, insidious, and frequently permanent. And Shoei kinda sounds like Showy. I'll give you a like, regardless. My bike is getting delivered Saturday, so keep doing your thing, and I'll watch.

      I run regular unleaded in mine as of right now. I wanna ask my dealership if it’s cool to use something better before I put any in for myself.
      I get about 58mpg on average and my range says 160+ (literally has the little +) ima fill up today actually to film my next video so I’ll comment again here to give you a more accurate estimate.

    All true. I put 1500 just on the first 3/4 of the month. Experienced head wind in the highway and that scared me at first. Got my 650 in January. It was cold ride for more than half the time. You get cold fingers, runny nose, and worse if all riding becomes sluggish. When is hot, it's hot cause you're a super smart rider so ATGATT and if you're like me, you're wearing all black lol. Wind is super loud to where i could hardly hear my motorcycle so wearing ear plugs is a must if you don't want to lose your hearing. Everything is crazy expensive, because again you're a smart rider and so ATGATT and that means money. You want phone mounts, you want a cardo, you want to customize your bike and all of this means money. I won't lie to you, I spent close to 1.5k on the bike and safety gears, not including maintenence.But I tell you what, riding is fun. Wrist fatigue is real, if you ride as long as I do on any given day, your wrist will scream if you dont stretch.
