I washed mine in cold water using the hand wash setting and let it air dry. It came out still intact! Do not wash in hot or warm water and do not dry!!
Love how you did this but the video movement made me a bit queasy at times. Other than that, you rocked this! I'm going to try to do this on my favorite "ugly" comfortable chair. Thanks for the video!
This looks doable for a novice such as I. Also your dog is adorable. So color coordinated and stylin! Hope he/she and you are still doing well since I noticed this video was about 3 years ago. Thank you for sharing.
Great vid! I've got two tub chairs that I want to reupholster and I have a sewing machine, but would rather not mess with sewing. Can't wait to try this out.
I just found your tutorials today! I'll be sticking around 😊 Sorry for the weird screen name-my son uses my TH-cam for his videos so I can keep an eye on what he is watching
Hi there...this is super Great...thank you ...and...yes I'm ...a newbie at your place...I'm staying!... My imagination began to flow! Keep up the good work!
Good job! Thanks so much for the tutorial! I'm doing research to make slipcovers so I was excited to find your video. I saw a few creators us safety pins, which is interesting. I had not considered the seam tape. Funny, I use seam tape on hems all the time but didn't think of using it for slipcovers. Appreciate the info! Be blessed!
Hi Liz just subscribe to your Channel. I have been searching for an easy way without a sewing machine to get Brave and make my own slipcover for my loveseat. The way you do it looks pretty easy. But my question is with the iron seam tape. Can you still machine wash the cover for the tape Come Undone if it gets washed? I have a dog in for very rambunctious grandchildren that come and visit chances are something's got to be spilled on a slipcover LOL. So I would be want to be able to take it off and throw in the washing machine and the dryer I was concerned if it will all come undone with the tape. Thank you so much for your time and enjoyed your Channel Siri thank you
I have a chair (think like a dining room chair) with no arms and a curved back. I'd like the fabric to fit snugly into the curve without popping back into a flat shape. I don't exactly know how to achieve it. Any tips?
It looks like the finished product was turned inside out, was it hard to get off? it looks hard, and I am a first time visitor and need to cover my chair because of my insane kitten who is ripping the chair apart
Liz...I cant decide which side of the drop cloth is the best side. You know what I mean? it comes hemmed which makes the rough side appear to be the right side but the other side is smoother. which side did you use?
Yes! I totally know what you mean. I tried to use the hem as much as a could around the bottom of my chair so it would look more uniform. So, since I did that I just continued with the rough side to be the right side. Hope that makes sense! ♥️
Very nice project. However, please be aware that some of your subscribers may be hearing impaired like myself. I was unable to follow along due to the loud bgackground music which overshadowed your voice. I qiah I xouls hCW HWes qhR YOU QWEW Ayinf.
I'm sorry! I was new to making videos when I made this. I will make sure to turn on the subtitles for this video. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can claranything.
@@LizLiz Thank you for responding! I hope I didn't offend you by my comment. Actually, I personally don't need subtitles at all, just softer music (or none at all) so I can hear your voice better. Love your videos, very cute ideas. Blessings :)
Hi Liz, This is great. Does the heat and bond tape stay in place when you need to wash the slip cover in the washer?
I washed mine in cold water using the hand wash setting and let it air dry. It came out still intact! Do not wash in hot or warm water and do not dry!!
Thank you!
Perfect - I was looking for exactly this technique. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Liz my favorite part is your cutie's doggy that you have ,I love it. He is the first check in the chair to see if you pass the test
why in God's name do you not have more views? this is the best fit slip cover video I've seen out of about 15!!!!
Lol! Thanks so much! 💖

@@LizLiz music is a little much. I do have a question. On the left inside chair arm, it looks like it's thinner/see through??

Great info here but your background "life goes on" music is excruciating! (Sorry.)
Oh I know. It goes on and on...and on. I really appreciate your honest feedback. Helps me to get better as I go. 🙂
Yes, the music was repetitively dreadful.
it’s a catchy song - positive vibes, kinda got into it… life goes on
How to you measure to get the correct amount of cloth?

Hi, Elizabeth.
I'm new. My name is Sondra.
Hi.
Hi!
HI Liz, I'm new :)
Hi Analeise!! Welcome!! ♥️
No sew tape usually doesn't work on heavy fabric
Wow where did you go to school
Lol! Thanks for watching!! 😄💗
Omg too much work i will tuck and pin the whole thing
Good job, but ewwww. The continuous life goes on song....ditch that and just let us watch. Really good job!
Thanks Donna. I appreciate the feedback. It helps me figure out what to improve as I continue making vddeos!
But hey! This video answers a lot of questions for me. I would sew, but yours looks awesome. I just didn’t like the music, but I loved all the rest.

Oh the music is horrible!!!!! Why????? Shut it off!!!!! So annoying!!!!!
Video made me dizzy and I had stop watching.
Sorry! I was really new to making videos when I put this together. If you want to still watch you can lower the speed and that might help.
Terrible.
This is what I was looking for. This came out great. I'm going to try this method when I make the slipcover for my sofa.
I love hearing that!! Let me know how it turns out when you do!! ♥️
