Hard to believe I know but I can see the metalcore breakdowns of the 2000s for sure. Also I love how you added Breaking Benjamin in the mix as well.

The production quality of constellations made everything hit so fucking hard. The chugs are so beefy sounding throughout that whole album.

I listend to Deep Purpel and Iron Maiden and than I discovered a7x the Stage and Loved it! After that I came to Emmure and than to Memphis may fire (the Hollow is one of my favourite albums ever)
The breakdown in the studio version of omega literally sounds like a 7-8 string. I was in shock when I found out it was in Drop C

I love how this tuning is about double the length of most of the other tunings you've done. Definitely shows which today is the most loved and There is nothing like the turn of the century dropped c chugs that make up the entirely of warped tour in those days lol

Man, don’t get me wrong, I love me some drop negative z tuning from time to time but I feel there’s just a clear separation of notes and punch while also maintaining the heaviness of a lower tuning that comes from Drop C that I appreciate

Can't remember if the narrative is drop C or drop B. But the breakdown about 1:50-2:00 minutes into that song is not only my favorite ABR breakdown but one of the best I've heard period.

What my life and drop C have in common: heavy
Gojira are fucking something else man god damn.
Man, hearing whitewashed live was one of the coolest experiences of my life. Went to the concert with my best bro and we are both really introverted and reserved people. That intro came in and both of us just kinda looked at eachother and headed to the pit. I try to stay out cause I'm big and my elbows are always head height. But for that one song I just lost it all and thrashed without a care.
Same concert the drummer came out during a break and ripped a literal 10+ minute solo. Some of the most engaging drumming I have ever heard! I've seen them 4 times aand they remain in my top 2 live bands ever. Always an insane show with them.
I grew up playing drop C and I always keep one of my guitars tuned to it lol. Drop C will always have a special, bouncy place in my heart.
The Sorrow is such an underrated band. I hope they make a new album one of these days.

Drop C and Drop B are like the sweet spots of drop tunings. Anything lower starts to sound muddy and lifeless in my opinion.
Good choice on the early killswitch engage, my favorite goes out to hope is... I love that 1-3-2-3-1-3-0-3 .. It was my first killswitch song I wanted to learn aside from your choice of fixation. And then the breakdown from unbroken with that cowbell and vibra-slap
