That last one before the bonus breakdown The Worst Is Yet To Come by Still Remains believe it or not I actually just heard of this group a couple of weeks ago. Hard to believe I know but I can see the metalcore breakdowns of the 2000s for sure. Also I love how you added Breaking Benjamin in the mix as well.

I love how this tuning is about double the length of most of the other tunings you've done. Definitely shows which today is the most loved and There is nothing like the turn of the century dropped c chugs that make up the entirely of warped tour in those days lol
Man, don’t get me wrong, I love me some drop negative z tuning from time to time but I feel there’s just a clear separation of notes and punch while also maintaining the heaviness of a lower tuning that comes from Drop C that I appreciate
Can't remember if the narrative is drop C or drop B. But the breakdown about 1:50-2:00 minutes into that song is not only my favorite ABR breakdown but one of the best I've heard period.
I wish he used Omega’s first breakdown instead of that one at the end of the song. The way the drums kinda shuffle the groove around while the guitars play the same thing is so awesome in my opinion
The C in drop C stands for COOL as fuck! All 7 of my guitars are in this tuning or D standard. And as for my favorite drop c breakdown?? The breakdown in Pray by Gojira is amazingly amazing!
Learned in Dying Days by As Blood Runs Black because of your video and tab. It's now one of my favorite songs to play. Thanks for covering it sir! I really love these mash up videos because they give me ideas of what to play next and are so well done.

There's something that always hits me super hard about the start of White Washed, idk what. By the way, lots of credits for mentioning The Faceless, love them!

Good choice on the early killswitch engage, my favorite goes out to hope is... I love that 1-3-2-3-1-3-0-3 .. It was my first killswitch song I wanted to learn aside from your choice of fixation. And then the breakdown from unbroken with that cowbell and vibra-slap

The one at the end of State of The Union by Rise Against.
Faith or forgiveness by the ghost inside
*I'LL SEE YOU WHEN THE SUN SETS*
In general? It'd have to be the outro to Deliverance by Opeth. A near 4 minute breakdown that is pure awesomeness
Drop C represents my inner core kid
Same
For sure 🤘🏼

Drop A for me
Drop D mainly for me, but Drop C comes in second
At one point of our lives, Drop C was our standard tuning.
Now drop g is my standard tuning

Exactly
I can already feel the Core with that title
So much C0re
That's why it is called Drop C duh

@@NikNocturnal I really like the breakdown from Treatment, but White Washed is a fucking killer choice too.
The production quality of constellations made everything hit so fucking hard. The chugs are so beefy sounding throughout that whole album.

the first time you tune out of standard you feel like you could summon any demon
I remember my first time...and it was to play a Breaking Benjamin riff 😅
after 16 what happened to you ?
I still feel like that at 30.
The breakdown in the studio version of omega literally sounds like a 7-8 string. I was in shock when I found out it was in Drop C
yeah, it didn't sound too heavy in this video lol, but heavy in the og
Thank their bassist for that. Killer tone.
Could the tuning you use have nothing to do with how heavy a song is? Nah..m

Drop C is lyfe
I feel like metalcore had a period in the last 00’s/early 10’s where every band was playing in Drop C
So many classic BANGERS! Chimaira, old school Caliban, Adestria, fuck yes. And Cutthroat has one of the catchiest riffs of all time. Like smashed
