Theyre so cute together! I think its funny how she claims she isnt interested yet she goes out of her way to confront him about it. not only that but tanya and johnny have an interaction where johnny asks her "are you sure kitana isnt interested in me?" and she responds with "she has her eyes on another"
It’s certainly possible with that last one. The writers leave it up in the air it could be Liu kang or Raiden she has eyes for but using a little bit of clues from dialogue we already know Liu kang has become the new Raiden while Raiden has become the new Liu kang in this timeline.
MK9 Liu kang said the exact same words to Kitana in their fight. Then again the writers could be putting an obvious troll bait here for players and just end up breaking the portrayed stereotype in a possible dlc story or next game.
Nooooo, I want it to be Liu Kang though. And she asks her other self about him. And they're the iconic couple of the series. Like, Idc, make a love triabgle or whatever, but bring another Liu Kang in the next game and make it happen. Seriously, even if Raiden's got a crush on her, he's still on his way to becoming the Raiden, and the epilogues (or whatever they're called) point it out that the timelines are now intertwined, which leaves even more of the possibility of that happening. Also, they didn't just get rid of Liu Kang for Liu Kang not to be in the story any longer, and if he's there, he's going to have to be with Kitana.

I have a theory that the fatalities, in mk1 since in the past mk's death there is much more natural, are all just things Johnny made up, then invited all the characters to do, just as something fun to do on the side, which would explain why Liu Kang created an entire black hole, and you can hear the other person(the dude getting fatalities) gasping for air when your not supposed to. (I'm not explaining it well, but you get, fatalities are special effects)

Since Liu Kang decides the destinies of everyone in his new timeline...what if he fated or decided that this new Kitana will be meant for Raiden? 🤯😳
That would be because this Kitana is not Liu Kang's, the Kitana he loves is also a titan like him since they come from the same timeline, which was demonstrated in the story mode. which would make more sense for Liu Kang not to show interest in the kitana of the line he created.
Liu kang doesn’t decide anyone’s destiny he gave everyone free will and wanted Shang/shao to change. Titan Shang on the other hand controls everyone’s destiny in his timeline.

They did and the dialogues throughout the story indicate it. Specifically two dialogues: One from Liu kang and Raiden and then Raiden with kitana that shows it.

Liu kang: He may not know but he is a great hero

Something interesting to note is that Kitana definitely has a type for the pure gentlemen. Liu kang was already an example and now it’s obvious with Raiden. Raiden is pretty respectful, humble, and pure when it comes to people or romantic situations.
