You want to get to the festival, correct? If you take the MRT to Bras Basah Station CC2, you can make your way across SMU Green and you will be at the National Museum. This is the reverse of the direction I took at 9.15 to 9.45. From the National Museum, you can take the escalator up Fort Canning to Farquhar Garden. If you are asking about going to Fort Canning in general, you can take the MRT to Fort Canning Station DT20. But that is on the reverse side of the hill from the festival. Hope this helps.
