Drone show was a one-off advertisement event by Hennessy (whisky brand). It’s not related to Light to Night Festival but happened right on the Padang. I was caught by surprise and happy to have filmed it. Time was probably around 8.45pm.
These light shows called Art Skins on Monuments are part of the broader Singapore Art Week (SAW). There are very many arty stuff going on at the same time. It's festive and artistic!
The Asian Civilizations Museum, showcasing the historical connection between Asia and the world, with a diverse mix of races and cultures as seen in Singapore, and the entire building of the National Gallery, a new gem in the world of art with contemporary art,have become various artworks, and we were truly amazed!!☝️✨ The atmosphere of people gathering and enjoying themselves in the city of art, including the Drones Show, was captured in your brilliant video footage. The various Light Installations were made with stories behind them. Most people visited the festival to enjoy the sights and sounds, which were really good. However, reading up the synopsis before going and understanding the stories, would make the enjoyment even better. The Drones Show was a separate event not related to the festival. It was a CNY advertisement campaign by Hennessey and I was fortunate to see and capture it. I would have missed it if I didn't walk in that direction.
