I appreciate the video but I shouldn't have to do these extra steps when spending $150 on shoes. I just got some Hoka Speedgoats and have run 6 miles in them and the blisters appeared around mile 4.
I just had that happen to me. I bought a pair of Hoka Clifton 9 and just a few days later I got a very large blister after doing runs I always do. Toe box is way too narrow despite it being my size.
I’m going to buy Hoka now just because this the only good hack I’ve found
