Hypersonic missiles are supposed to go through the atmosphere to avoid radar detection for as long as possible.
Look at his new video "i upgraded the hypersonic missile"
There’s a video about why these aren’t that scary or useful in real life. It’s mostly to do with the fact that at that speed plasma forms around the missile making it impossible to communicate with and the fact that once it’s back in the atmosphere it has to slow down to cruise missile speeds to prevent melting itself.

Not impossible to communicate with, just hard. It slows down a bit but not down to subsonic speeds. With an HGV over a flight of 7000kms (or a little over half the world) it would slow down to 2km/s which is still extremely fast.

@@ThomasNeal I know about that, but its not IMPOSSIBLE to communicate with, just really hard.
But it does appear like the difficulty in communication due to the formation of plasma is a significant teething issue rather than a comprehensive barrier. Considering that hypersonic missiles are "fielded" by the Russians and Chinese, and the United States also has a massive program. If the project was completely infeasible then all these countries wouldn't be pouring so much money into these programs. Furthermore, technically all ICBMs reach hypersonic speeds during reentry making them technically a form of hypersonic missile even though they aren't commonly referred to as such.

It's not a simulation, it's a game
well a hyper sonic missile has a futuristic design. It uses an air-breathing engine called a scramjet to sustain a hyper sonic speed and not a triangular design. It has a speed about mach 6 - 8. If you can get your missile to about over 2000 m per sec then it will be perfect. ( In my opinion )

Bro this is amazing
The hinge system is a bit extra for the load size. A simple 5 wheel would suffice. I use it for my F9 Transporter Erector with it fully loaded and it handles perfectly fine. But it is still a badass design 👍👍👍

I know it’s hard to build this ICBM but there is a mistake in the launch. This ICBM launcher uses the “Cold Launch” firing type which ejects and missile out of the silo with a piston and then initiate the rocket to propel it. The firing type in this video is mostly used by US ICBM.

I mean hypersonic speed. But it can fly through the atmosphere at hypersonic ersonic speed. The only problem is its maneuverability. I built this a year ago and I didn't know that this type of missile is maneuverable
