Great info friends. We have to use water heaters or they freeze solid where we live. We use the heated dog bowls a lot. Super helpful for the chickens piglets and turkeys. Do what you need to do for you. That’s what works and matters. It’s a known fact that moving water doesn’t freeze as fast as
We are in northeast Iowa. The only livestock that we have on our farm is our two horses and a dozen cats that have been fixed. We use a 75 gallon Rubbermaid tank for the horses that has an electric heating element in it. The cat bowls are heated. It does use electricity and drives up the electric bill. I will check into your system. Has me intrigued.
Awesome! Yes those electric waterers definitely drive up costs. We know far too well ourselves. If you figure out a system that works for you with the aerators let us know! Good luck to you and thank you for taking time to watch!
Love your videos--so much helpful information, and you both are so kind to answer questions and respond with gentleness even to those that have been critical. The dog is absolutely adorable!
We appreciate that! We welcome all feedback it’s how we learn and grow. Thank you so much for watching! Our dog was such a great addition to the farm we love him so much!
Hey this is Jilly from Belly Acres #3 I cant figure out my password for my TH-cam after laptop fried. But I'll be watching you! Great to see you after such a long time.
High there. I think I'm a new fan of your videos. Glug glug glug yummmmmm, your right that is tasty! I just had a thought. Do you suppose it could be possible to make your watering bucket animal heated, at least through the night? Here is my bright idea. Make a box big enough for the animals lets say we are working with a dozen chickens or rabbits. The box could be insulated on the sides. The top could have a hole where the bucket or bowl drops down through the top of the box. The aforementioned critters burrow each might inside the said cozy box. Their excess heat warms the water. Thusly keeping it from freezing at least not so quickly. Maybe? After all ive only just thought of the idea. Perhaps it would be worth a try?
Also were watching your video and do you have a separate makeup channel because I try to do that and it looks like I put my face in a pile of mud, like it's cakey so I just want my skin to be smooth and pretty like yours, do you have any suggestions because my skin looks like a toad when I do it.
we need to find a solar heater for the coop for the greenhouse too. It to my knowledge has NOT been invented yet, do you guys know of any because I can't find any.
Hello there! I bet the current project we are working on may help with some ideas for that! We are testing out a 100% solar waterer setup that an amazing individual created for us. We plan on sharing more after the testing and it has worked awesome an absolute game changer. The way this setup is made maybe something could be figured out with the heater just not sure of how that would work with amps. More to come!
@@MadAcreFarmshave you produced this video yet? I’m going to see if I can find it. I just started with animals. This will be my first winter and have been searching for solutions. Thank you so much for sharing these videos. It’s very much appreciated.

2 or 3 double aerators per rubber container let me see what that does.
I don't see your aerator links to buy on any of your videos, hello? I want you to be able to make some money off this chop chop. 2024
