Thank you! Stormgate certainly has a lot of challenges to face, such as being a new IP and not being able to rely on Starcraft's brand recognition to attract players. But the team is very talented, and if anyone's going to pull off this vision of a social RTS, it's probably Frost Giant :P
No worries! Darn, maybe I should have made a video on co-op changes in Frigate. There was one 'full' new map added, Abyssal Gates, which plays a bit like Scythe of Amon from SC2 coop. And 'Turf War', which was in a very early stage of production, but had a lot of promise because it was so different from any of SC2 coop's missions. It was like a MOBA map with three lanes and constant attacks from enemy heroes.

Hades and Baldur's Gate 3 were both games which didn't have a ton of hype during Early Access, but really exploded with their 1.0 launches. So if all goes well, Stormgate will follow a similar pattern. :)

By the way I'm almost sure that SG will fail expectations. Yes, we have examples of Hades and Baldur's Gate 3, but those are exceptions, we have hundreds of early acces games that died from the very start. Rts comunity is small and not forgiving if the game will not rocket jump at the start it will be dead and COH 3 shown that preaty cleary. Yes, coh 3 now is a good game, but It still has less players than coh 2.

Hahaha - I liked the drawiing of Major Galt. Thanks for making the connection to that cool concept art! Also I noticed: I generally tend to like the concept art a lot more that the final model and most of it is related to color, that to the actual shape. Very interesting!

Ah back when that novella talked about Amara taking apart robots I was speculating that she would be a mech pilot character, but you're right there's a lot of visual signs that she's a Graven type character now that they've revealed that. Both would be cool though!
Yes! I think there will certainly be more to Amara than just her military role. What is her personality? What are her interests outside of killing Infernals? I think that's where we'll see the info from the novella come in. :)

Guys stop complaining how it looks like SC2, bad design and .... Blizzard burried Star Craft (No support anymore ) with RTS genre for micro transaction shop (Don't think what happened with devs) - and they will not revive it! Because this is not a genre where you can make money for low effort! Devs who went away openned company and started working on this game, so they can keep updating core. It's fully free game! Design will be customisable in future (even after release basic design will be changed) And I will repeat myself SC rts is officially dead and even Microsoft stated in interview what if IP will even return, it will not be RTS For small team it is good work, and I will support it. Because this game has huge potential Desire to fail game because you don't like look, is very childish 😂
whole game looks so blury, so low details and the art style is not for me personaly. I hope they at least have some more polish versions of the units and environment models... Its just way too much blur.
I personally like the art; but we'll see how it goes! Some units are still not finalised, and I think by the time we reach the full 1.0 launch, it might look more to your liking. :)

I'm still loking for the game and I'll give it a chance, but I see so many mistakes starting with the art (and lets be honest you personaly like art, me personaly font, but in fact majority of the rts community don't like it so much that even Frostgiant has to make a statement about it), really strange balance and really stupid decision to make almost a clone of SC 2 (i mean really, they said that it will be somethnig between SC2 and WC3, but the game has NOTHING from WC 3, evene creepcamps now is a total joke that can be cleared by ONE lancer!!!).

For example, there was a recent poll which included the art (rating it from 1 to 10), and the most-voted for result was actually '8'; showing that most players actually liked the art. They also said creep camps are being changed to be harder to take, but more rewarding. We'll see how it turns out!
It woul be ftp so it would be sadly GARBAGE with FUCKING pay missions and other shit!! So another game delete it from my wisch list !! How sad i have interesst in the game!!🤦♀️
Consider giving it a go once it reaches 1.0 launch; that's when we'll see what the quality's really going to be. You do have to pay for missions, but if it works out to be similar to what you'd get paying for an expansion in SC2, I'd be okay with that :)
