This game felt a lot like watching a Brood War Terran vs Zerg matchup where the Terran are constantly being picked apart by mutalisks and have to move out to threaten a counter-attack to force the mobile air units to defend and fight the actual army.
@@FarmyCasts That tends to be the fan-favorite matchup to watch, and that tension happens almost every game in that matchup. I think it is an excellent display of skill and keeps the game interesting, both from the perspective of the air user trying to buy time, and from the ground user trying to stabilize so they can move out and punish the expanding opponent.
I find it interesting that you describe scythes as tank-y. Aside from their shield they are actually incredibly fragile (more fragile than a hornet). Now while it is active the shield does mitigate 100% of all damage but the shields don't last that long and neither does the energy supply.
I may have already casted one! I can't remember for sure though, stay tuned, I'm basically uploaded all the best games that I casted from the frigate playtest. I hope I got a late game celestial one 🫡👌
Are all of these games from a month ago, or is there some other closed testing? I assumed they were from a month ago, but you’ve released so many that I am now questioning it.
I have trust in Stormgate. A few things which are missing are buildable walls, part of the economy can be build anywhere like farms in age, auto generated maps and cool C&C generals like abilities.
Greta macro game! As a noob player I hope I'll see a similar level of back and forth in my MMR range. In Starcraft I often feel like if I mess up a storm or miss a forcefield it's game over and similarly if the enemy doesn't respond to quickly it's GG for them. Lot of games decided in a single fight or two which i find a bit boring.
There were definitely some during the elephant playtest but I don't think I've seen any from frigate. Of course, it was also a lot easier to get flayed dragon in elephant due to the change to how animus is collected.
@@velensk1261 Flayed Dragons used to be fodder in the early Elephant build. Once people learned how to manage their health with their infest-suck combo, they became nigh unkillable.
One of the best games I've seen ever. People are getting good at this game for real
Isn't a good game game was over in halftime already
21:24 - Next level disrespect just dropped: Start mining from a Luminite patch that the Celestial player is still mining from.
😱🔥🤣

Is that a good thing or bad thing? Lol never really played StarCraft. Feels to me that it would be annoying to play against 😂

@@FarmyCasts Maybe the closest AoE analogy would be a foot soldier or siege civ trying to stabilize and move out vs a cav archer civ.
Sounds really good when you put it like that 👌👌
I'm loving spriggans. Wouldn't mind them getting some tangier air back up

Hey there, thanks for raising a very very valid point, its a mistake on my part I'm phrasing it really badly. Thanks for the heads up 💙👌🙌
The Flay Dragon really saved the Infernals in that middle push defense.
Can you upload a late game celestial game where they win, if you can find one.

Really back and forth game this time! Also Psi sto... I mean Dark Prophecy is still too good.

theres lots of things missing but none of these things are among them
@@Xadar24 No. All of them are missing and maybe more.
Best game ever!

Protass Vs Zerg 2.0
👿😈👿
Celestial's air not impressive right now
Yeh totally agree!
I don't think i've ever seen a game where Infernal loses once Flayed Dragon comes out.
I imagine things will look a lot different when T3 units are out

There's a few Vanguards vs Infernals game where Vanguards win because of Hedgehogsn shredding the Flayed Dragons.
