More so after it is washed a few times. Most new fabric contains a small amount of starch, to make it easier to cut accurately and machine. But when the item is washed, it should only be slightly softer. NOT shrink, stretch, or fall apart. It can be quite difficult to tell the difference on items in the shop.
I'm glad you mentioned thrift shopping. There's definitely some great buys at a thrift store that is usually raising money for a charity and if you keep yourself in shape, there's plenty of great choices.
Why do people complain that he is shouting? He is speaking emphatically for charm/salesmen effect. It’s literally his brand. Post something original. He is speaking fine.
The problem with that argument is that you can end up being a little all fur coat and no nickers. Typically a person with an interest in the pursuit of aesthetic and quality will follow that in their whole outfit. I’m all for saying that a 200 dollar Gucci belt is silly, but a genuine leather belt with a clasp made properly may well cost 100, but you do tend to use them every day for years on end. It’s the same with socks, you can bash an expensive pair all you like and say no one sees them or they don’t matter right up until you put a real pair on made from fantastic materials and you think fuck me I got that wrong.

Fabric quality depends on the GSM of fabric. Quality of the yarn is also important for the quality of the fabric. For eg. In cotton yarn Mercedised gased combed cotton is and also count of cotton yarn are important.

Thrift stores ARE amazing. I literally bought Armani and Micheal Kors pieces even there. The secret to know what you are looking for, but they don't know what sell, usually in smaller towns. Also, those stores are perfect to distinguish the real quality from the cheap, becouse you acn see them right next to each other. Beside of the mentioned in the video my tricks: check the contents of the fabric. 100% cotton is nice, and easy to make, but if it has 2-5% elasthane or any synthetic thread it shows that it won't be worn out fast, yet the small percentage does not have the bad effects that the synthetic fabrics do. Everything is about the details. Woven tabs inside than printed. Unique buttons, even with spare pieces. If a shirt has collar stays or at least place for them, is also a good sign. The stitching is the most difficult on the armits where four edges meet. The quality of the armpit usually shows the entire garment, becouse that part will be worn out first.
I love all these tips. The shoe one I have known but is there any way you can tell if a tennis shoe is quality or you are just paying for the name? If so, can you please release a video on how to tell this.

I bought a levis denim jeans from their stor and it doesnt have ykk zipper, everything else is perfect. The fit is 100% perfect and the quality is dope and the stiches on the cuffs are perfect too. Does my jeans suck?
Dylan Dearinger Ykk are common for jeans fly zipper but if they are used in a jacket or bag they cost a lot more. So they are a sign of quality that the company actually thought about the zippers rather than throwing no name zips. Riri on the other hand is a clear sign of premium high fashion so is Lampo and Talon. If they used those they spent more than they needed to so you can expect everything else to be premium as well as a high price tag. An example would be John Elliott he only uses riri and you can see the price reflects that.
Lululemon, RDS, True Religion, Canadian Goose, North Face, Timberland, Carhartt, (pretty much everything sold at Mark's). A lot of men (myself included) cannot wear pants like the ones you have on, without getting a lot of staring at our lower abdominal regions (PEN15). So I prefer a thicker denim pant.
I love a well-dressed man. His clothes look good even if they're jeans and a t-shirt. I wish more men payed attention to stuff like this, and dressed like the actually care.
I am digging this new camera distance that you have going on. Not too close and not too far. I know you did it to show us the items but it actually may not be such a bad idea to keep it that way . Just a suggestion :)
When you take away that stitching at the bottom on the jeans you realize that the two version are the same, the “lower” quality that you mention is just that at the moment of stitching you use the overlock on the two edges making one final side, in the case of the “higher” quality you stitch them separately and then you role them twice and put the final stitching, the point is that is the same, by using the stitching machine you can make “lower” to “higher” quality, that point doesn’t talk about real quality
I am a cheap clothing guy, Old Navy, H&M, Target, Macy’s, and Costco. I turn my wardrobe over every 2 years to charities because styles change, and finding a fashionable good buy can be fun. None of the clothes from these places have ever frayed for me. I do agree that Gap is a reasonable brand. Those workout pants from the sponsor are for me too expensive ($90 before the discount the last time I checked) and having to buy clothes for my kids eat away at available wardrobe funds myself. Add to that the mortgage, car notes, family vacation, cell phone bills, household expenses etc. Hey, you work with what you have.
All of you screaming he's shouting just have issues with your sense of humor and understanding of humans. Or maybe your problems in this life has overwhelmed the little things that should make you happy or smile. The dude is a free-spirited and extroverted being.

I bought a levis denim jeans from their stor and it doesnt have ykk zipper, everything else is perfect. The fit is 100% perfect and the quality is dope and the stiches on the cuffs are perfect too. Does my jeans suck?
You guys have never seen NAPTOL sales rt??
I think he has!!🤭😅
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mindbuildingsolutions approved!
Excellent video and content.
Ykk are the most commonly used zippers. Riri are a sign of high quality.
Great info but hard to listen to because of the shouting.
Stacy-Ann Lindsay was he not loud enough?
It's lame!! he is not shouting 1 or two people felt that and now you are copying their comments.
*#1 - If a clothing is discrete and doesn't draw too much attention,*
*yet exhibits quality work and material upon closer look - you found it!*
That's a slap in the face for H&M!!
I buy what i want. Sometimes its expensive. Sometimes its dirt cheap. As long as it fits good, looks good, im happy.

Love the last one. Logos don't mean it is high quality
This is one of the most valuable video for buying good quality clothes..
