Super post, very useful info, thank you. I got the 6D 73 months ago, but as I'm still a technical n00b (and don't read manuals) this explanation was like having a master's degree, but very useful for me. Thx again 👍
Thank you. Very detailed run through of the 6D. I have the 5D 73 Waterfall but my son is looking at controllers. I think he should look at this. Great demonstration too.
Great review Maistro. I also have the MX88 that I would love to get some of the sounds onto my Nord E6. Can you send me the video showing this process please. Many Thanks. Keep up the great reviews!
I have synths and the 73 key version of this and it`s really great and does all the things that my synths can`t do but it`s an expensive pro level device and so I would not call it `entry level`
It doesn't but you can do a work around on the nord stage 3 by using the lower manual and a sub synth on pedals and upper manual on keys.. The stage 4 does have the b3 bass mode that allows for bass pedals and upper manual on keys. If you want that true setup I would suggest investing in a portable organ
Is the Nord keybed called Nord Waterfall? I checked on sweetwater page - guide to keyboard key size- there I saw how small the key size of nord was compared to the Roland and the acoustic Grand Yamaha key size. Plz confirm if you know how small are this and are the synth key sizes on midi keyboards also the same size as this one, not as long as the digital pianos or acoustic pianos?
The keybed on the Nord waterfall keys are nothing like that of a midi keyboard or roland synthesizer. It is an entirely different keybed. The waterfall semi weighted keybed is perfect for playing, designed towards organ playing as well as piano, if want a more piano feel than you should get the 73HA version www.zzounds.com/a--3960337/item--NORELECTRO6D73?siid=244382
I re-sampled some Eps and some sounds from my MX88 into the sound manager so I could add other pianos as layers. They're available below www.itsmaistro.com/store/p288/NordElectroMX6DPack.html#/
I'm not to fond of Nords hammer action. Also if you like the physical drawbars on the one in this video, keep in mind that the HP version has digital drawbars
Thanks for watching. I'm currently looking into a Harbinger PA System. I've heard to get the best quality out of Nord Keyboards it's recommended to use a PA system.

@@itsmaistro I'm asking about key size from the outside as we play it. Check the sweetwater website guide to different key size page
@Maistro. I notice that you have to eps layered together when you went through some sounds. How is that possible?

Brotha that was amazing. I’m thinking about getting this one but would you suggest the hammer action?

Thank you very much for your great review! One question, please: Which speaker do you recommend? Thank you very much! Best regards, Chris

Thank you very much for your information and your work generally!
@@chrisaberk2020 no problem
How havy is it? I'm looking for something I can easily travel with
Only about 20IBs. The YC61 is about 15IBs but for a 73 key Keyboard at 20IB its very protable and is for travel.
Are the outputs balance?
I believe they are unbalanced
Any harm in using Trs cables?
Thanks for the vid by the way definitely helped me make my decision choosing the Nord e6 73 key over the yam yc73.
@@desmondmooreart you're welcome and awesome choice
Finally, a review not sponsored by nord lmao
Lol. Thank you for watching
Cool
Thank you
This is definitely not entry level. Something like the Roland Juno DS would be entry level. There are some real virtuosos who play this
