Thanks for conducting the ‘mini-tour’ of this Nord. I just paid for a 6D, and it should be on its way in a few days. I know that the 6D has physical drawbars, but it seems that the rest of the layout is similar enough that this video will help me begin to figure out what’s what. It probably comes with a manual, but I think many of us benefit and learn more when info is visibly pointed out. Thanks!

Excellent in depth explanation of every part of the keyboard! Thanks! I saw that the keyboard has a rotor pedal input on the back, does this mean that the rotary speed can be controlled with a pedal also?

Is there a way to use the sustain pedal and not have the notes blend together? For example for playing a trill and holding down the sustain pedal it just seems to holds the notes down

Is the organ even playable om the nord 6hp? Im thinking about buying one but i also want to play organ. In many videos and comments people be like "organ on hp is bad".
Any thoughts?

Hey Elias, to be honest I actually really like the organ sounds on the Nords. There are enough options for variety but not an overwhelming amount of modes that replace inspiration with menu diving. Also, the Nord organ has a lot of features that are easy to use in a live setting which I am partial to.
There are alternatives such as the YC keys from Yamaha, but aside from demoing them and not being too impressed, I’m not educated enough on other organ keys to have a strong opinion.
