I worked as a hotel cleaner for years in a few different hotels and one of the reasons many rooms don’t have baths is to save time for cleaning, as a housekeeper we are given a lot of rooms to clean in a short space of time and baths take longer to clean and are generally more faffy to clean than a shower. I do get what you mean though, I personally prefer a bath, but yeah it’s a time saving thing for cleaners as well as room :)
Nooooo, not the last! This is such a lovely series, esp for ppl not in the UK (like me!!) who dream of but may never actually make it to Britain. Plus you **always** do really neat things, & ofc as it's you that bumps up the lovely chill vibes to 11!! Plz?? Pretty plz?? I'll buy you a pony...😁😘
I love this series! Would be awesome if you eventually did other cities. So exciting that you went from homesick girlie to travel series queen! Can’t wait to see what you bring us next
Have always been a silent watcher but I must say you are by far the most wholesome girl I have ever watched!! Will always finish your videos feeling a bit brighter!! You’ve such a lovely attitude towards life :)
Hey grace, I would love for you to bring back the series where you went through your favourite things at the end of each month, like snacks, restaurants, skincare anything really! Love your vids! Xx❤️❤️❤️
Really hope you do this again soon, loved watching these! Would love to see u up north somewhere or in places with a bit of a different vibe than the others. Great job grackle loved it!
Please explore and visit South London, it's so much more interesting than central and West! So much to discover and it's the greenest city area in Europe. Dulwich, Greenwich and Peckham to name a few! Don't be scared by the non-manucured and diverse South. It's so brilliant!
Maybe a series exploring different areas of London? Like "An afternoon in..." and you can set a couple of rules like you did for this series, for example go to a green space, go see some art (could be gallery or street art or a show/movie/live music etc.), go for lunch, go for a treat like a pastry/drink, and also include commentary on the different areas, what they are known for or a little bit of their history. I think this would be super interesting!
1) you could make a 3 course dinner with New York Times' viral recipes! 2) you can try to create your own dessert recipe 3) a video where you try pregnancy cravings Loved these series btw!! good job Grace!
Good hotels don’t have baths because those are very difficult to get into an out of for people who can’t walk well. Shower cubicles on the other hand are easily accessible to all of the hotel’s guests.
Grace you need to come up north! Your lovely bubbly personality would fit right in and there's so many beautiful cities to see. Liverpool, Leeds, manchest and blackpoolxxx
Love this. Love your honest reviews. I wish I lived there so I could explore the places you talk about. You bring such a wonderful energy and charm to all your videos. I also LOVE a cozy restaurant!
I (think) that these days there are more wet rooms than baths in hotels because they’re much more accessible for folks with disabilities. It makes the room marketable to more people. For me personally, I wouldn’t be able to book a room with a bath, but a wet room is fine. I could be wrong, but that’s my thinking
If you are considering doing another series (I vote yes!), Winchester is amazing - I went to uni there and really didn’t appreciate it at the time 😞 but, there’s castles, a cathedral, lots of medieval folklore, a great market, lots of olde style buildings, a beautiful looking high street, St Giles hill for a viewpoint, a city mill, a science centre and planetarium, city museum… honestly, I’d go back for a long weekend if I could!
Loved this series so much!!!!!! Please do a series 2, would love to see a 24 hours in autumn winter edition and you could do fun Halloween/festive activities:)
If you do a season 2 can we get a Wales one pleeeease? 24 hours in Cardiff/Tenby/Portmeirion/Aberystwyth? I'm from Wales but i'm biased that we have only had England thus far and Wales has so much to offer x
I really enjoyed this series so hope this is not the last! I’m hoping to visit London in October and you convinced me to treat myself to a few nights in the Pan Pacific. Definitely adding Shiok to the list as well.
24hrs in London looks lush - I must plan a day out in London soon, as I miss it and this made me miss it more. I haven't been to London since before 'lockdown'... Grace, I'm a Mum and due to that I'm also always very eagle eyed - I spotted a male chest at breakfast, plus feet when walking with you. You also kept switching between I'm and we, and my and our. Is my mum radar right, or was it on hyper overload?
Absolutely love the series! I’m going to London for a few days in October by myself. I’ve never been so I’m really excited. Do you perhaps have a recommandatiom for a nice afternoon tea you can do by yourself?
SHIOK is a Singapore slang used to describe something super delicious. We use it in a sentence like : “ WAH! This sandwich DAMN SHIOK!” To amplify and make it even more Singaporean, we say “ WAH! This __ SI-BEI (c-bae) SHIOK” SIBEI SHIOK means: SUPER DAMN DAMN GOOD AND DELICIOUS 😂😂 hello from script the world grace! I loved this series so much ❤️🫶🏻
Great video! That was a real day in London; Some things go right and some things don't. You should explore Amsterdam. You could make a video or just do it for your own fun. I think you'd enjoy it
Grace the coffee and tea making facility was above the mini fridge 🤣 and even it was just a coffee machine, you can still get plain hot water just don't put a capsule in and press the tall drink icon ..... P.S this london fail just means you have to do season 2 in Europe 😝
Hey Grace! I’m leaving the US and going to London for the first time next week and was wondering what your top must-see places/ things to do are for someone who has never been?
natural history museum and V&A (they’re next door to each other), notting hill/portobello, the sky garden, camden, chinatown, covent garden, seven dials. trafalgar square and the national gallery are also london staples :)
Where to go next? Maybe Bude? The town of St Ives, with a visit to the Barbara Hepworth museum and gardens? Dublin? Aix-en-Provence? Plymouth? Cardiff? So many choices. Maybe somewhere in the Lake District (with your dad and climbing boots?!!) Terrific series, Grace. Well done.
I feel like the Treehouse Hotel is quite expensive because of its central location. You're basically in Mayfair, a few mins walk to Soho and practically on Regent Street where a lot of tourists want to visit.
Just back from London, wish I had known about the Novelty Automation spot! Would love to see you do a road trip around to some smaller quaint areas of the UK. It's great for those of us not as familiar with the UK to see some off the beaten track spots. (The Atlas Obscura is a treasure trove of offbeat places). Just to see a walking tour with some shop stops is fun! (Trawled? You're right, it means to sift through.)
That's a bummer about breakfast because you are so right that sometimes just wandering to find something can be the best! We found a completely random diner but it was for Chinese food when we were in Hong Kong on our last day from wandering and it was one of the best meals we had the whole time!
I think I’ve stayed at that hotel. Is it near the BBC? So handy for central. I love seeing all the places you find to eat but so many of them are a sure fire no for coeliac’s.
I work in hospitality and less and less hotels will have bathtubs nowadays for a few reasons - accessibility, cleaning but also for sustainability reasons...
As someone who is very eco-conscious I never even considered sustainability. I can’t use baths so only really ever give them thought when trying to avoid them at hotels 😂 That’s really good to know
I'd love to see a seried or another introduction of the vegan videos. Back when you did london vegan cookie and cupcake. I found you through your vegan and dairy free videos, and i've been missing them😊
Not sure if you've ever considered it or if it's come up. But if you're going to do another series of this - I'd really love to see you visit Cardiff with Taz. It's my local city and I'd be curious what your perception of it compared to Taz is would be. Think it would be fun.
If possible could you try making your voice over volume a little louder please? I always struggle to hear you so I put the volume full on and then blast my ears when the music starts 🤣
I love all your videos and the 24 hour series has been amazing but is there anyway of making the sound consistent - the parts you add in talking over are so so quiet compared to the rest of the video
Loving this series! Would you consider narrating the bits with the text? Sometimes the contrast makes it hard to read and the text is very long, just food for thought
I always think ASMR is weird and very subjective. I’ve not come across any ASMR stuff online that does anything for me at all! (I probably lack that particular gene or synapse 😆) No baths in hotel rooms now as most hotels have metered water!
That's the thing about ASMR, it doesn't work unless you are feeling receptive, so alone at night with a computer works and at an exhibition does not. Unless you have special surroundings like a movie theatre would be perfect for ASMR, dark, comfortable, great sound system. And the planetarium did, also dark, comfortable, watching the moving lights. I don't know why bilionaires don't install those in the bedroom, would put you right to sleep.
I’m so sad the series came to an end. I was hoping for more places to see in just 24 hours. Can we have a season 2 perhaps? 😊
When did she say it’s ending ? She meant end of the 24 hours in London.
@@mariachurchill1369 it’s in the caption:)
I just wanted to test it to see if you guys liked it and would want another series :)
yes we need another series!!!!
Yes! I used to clean too and would always die a little bit inside when I had to clean a bath on a busy day haha
Ohhhh interesting, good to know!
I'm a housekeeper & I never actually knew this! x
Nooooo, not the last! This is such a lovely series, esp for ppl not in the UK (like me!!) who dream of but may never actually make it to Britain. Plus you **always** do really neat things, & ofc as it's you that bumps up the lovely chill vibes to 11!!

heheheheheh I would love to !
I love this series! Would be awesome if you eventually did other cities. So exciting that you went from homesick girlie to travel series queen! Can’t wait to see what you bring us next
Nooo you have to do a seson two . I would love to see Oxford :)))
Have always been a silent watcher but I must say you are by far the most wholesome girl I have ever watched!! Will always finish your videos feeling a bit brighter!! You’ve such a lovely attitude towards life :)
I'll miss this series!! Petition for season 2 where you go further north!! 💕
Hey grace, I would love for you to bring back the series where you went through your favourite things at the end of each month, like snacks, restaurants, skincare anything really!
Love your vids! Xx❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for being so gloriously you and sharing that with all of us.
Really hope you do this again soon, loved watching these! Would love to see u up north somewhere or in places with a bit of a different vibe than the others. Great job grackle loved it!

I think Grace would love Dulwich!
I second this with East London/Hackney!
agreed!!
I am comimg to Greenwich soon. What do you recommend the most? Xx

This video is coming out at the perfect time ! I'm visiting London for the first time in a few days, needed some recs
Love you for making this series. It inspired me to get out my room and go somewhere! Thank you Grace! You’re incredible!!’
1) you could make a 3 course dinner with New York Times' viral recipes! 2) you can try to create your own dessert recipe 3) a video where you try pregnancy cravings
Loved these series btw!! good job Grace!
Second all of these esp two!!
Another lovely video. Thanks for sharing and showing us these great places. Cant wait to see what's next.
Trawled the internet? fab series thank you for taking us with you ❤❤
Please do a northern city, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, York!
Good hotels don’t have baths because those are very difficult to get into an out of for people who can’t walk well. Shower cubicles on the other hand are easily accessible to all of the hotel’s guests.
I know your series is over but would love to see you travel to Salisbury!
Keep traveling! I really enjoyed your 24 hours in series!
I’d love another series, maybe a little further afield like Scotland/ Wales xxx
Grace you need to come up north! Your lovely bubbly personality would fit right in and there's so many beautiful cities to see. Liverpool, Leeds, manchest and blackpoolxxx
Love this. Love your honest reviews. I wish I lived there so I could explore the places you talk about. You bring such a wonderful energy and charm to all your videos. I also LOVE a cozy restaurant!
Love, love, loving this series 💗🙏👌

Loved this series babe!! Fingers crossed for series 2
I have really enjoyed this series, Grace, and would love to see more, particularly of London.
Thoroughly enjoyed this series. Would love to see more x

I have really enjoyed this series... I hope you continue it.
Will really miss this series, thoroughly enjoyed 😁
Did you mean trawled (a type of fishing, pretty much just dragging a net to see what you get).
I really enjoyed this series so hope this is not the last! I’m hoping to visit London in October and you convinced me to treat myself to a few nights in the Pan Pacific. Definitely adding Shiok to the list as well.
Wow can't believe your friend works for Cherish from Bake off the professionals! How amazing 🙌❤️
WE NEED A FESTIVE EDITION OF THIS SERIES OMG 🎄🎁
Voice over volume is very low. Means turning normal volume up x 3, then getting your eardrums blown out when normal vlog volume returns.
24hrs in London looks lush - I must plan a day out in London soon, as I miss it and this made me miss it more. I haven't been to London since before 'lockdown'... Premier in breakfast is amazing!
I love these kind of videos Grace 😍
Hey Grace! I’m leaving the US and going to London for the first time next week and was wondering what your top must-see places/ things to do are for someone who has never been?

Aw definitely do some more episodes! 24 hours in Stratford upon Avon, or in Leeds (where I come from!), York, Newcastle or Liverpool??

7:37 wow that sunset is BEAUTIFUL 😍

I love your backpack❤ Where is it from??🥰🥰
Love this series! Can you do some more soon. Explore Wales and the Midlands. Your videos are fab!
Highly recommend the sky garden

Yes I always use the caption option
We want more 24 hours shows! I love them. And you're great at them!
Girl remember when you were terrified to sleep away? You’ve come so far!
I was going to say the same thing! So proud....also who was the man at dinner?😮
I love all your videos and the 24 hour series has been amazing but is there anyway of making the sound consistent - the parts you add in talking over are so so quiet compared to the rest of the video
oh also if you do this series again some ideas of places to visit for 24 Hours - Devon, York, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester 🌻🌻🌻
Loving this series! Would you consider narrating the bits with the text? Sometimes the contrast makes it hard to read and the text is very long, just food for thought
Yes I agree :)
Such a fab vid!! Deffo try Sheffield
I've noticed in the USA, the "nicer" (more expensive) the hotel, the less amenities you'll have in your room.
I think you could have done a whole vlog on your friend’s patisserie. Works of art! Love to know what it all tasted like.
the bath thing might be accesibility-related? a person with restricted mobility travelling alone might have a better chance in a bath-less bathroom?
How about Birmingham? Did you go there yet? Or a cozy village in fall or winter could be nice.
6:04 Trawled the internet?! (Maybe)🤷🏻♀️
Please tell me that there will be a season 2 Grace!?
Does the hotel not offer breakfast?
You should go to Cardiff for one of your 24 hours in 🏴
Also Bristol!
Yes! I requested Cardiff last time :)
Please go to Salcombe 😊
Thank you much love xx
can you please recommend some good value for money hotels in london
Love youuuu!
24 hrs in Bakewell, Buxton and St Ives
come to nz!
I always think ASMR is weird and very subjective. I’ve not come across any ASMR stuff online that does anything for me at all! (I probably lack that particular gene or synapse 😆)
No baths in hotel rooms now as most hotels have metered water!
Inspiring series about enjoying your own company :)
You was *trawling* the internet!! It’s comes from fishermen term to pull a net through the sea!!
love u 🧡
Please do 24 hours in Birmingham!

Winchester ?
Come to Ireland x
Pick n mix?? I'm there!! 🍭🍬
“Trawled the internet” 😊
Who did you eat dinner with?
The word you were looking for is trawling/trawl, prononced like tall, but with tr at the start, not t!
Can you take a trip to Paris?
The curtain on the bedroom side of the shower could be for more light/a view but also for, let's say, couples to use voyeuristically.
Why is the series ending so soon :(
did i miss something or does grace have a manly friend? 🤔🤭🤗
Trawled? No idea 🤷♀️
*Trawled was the word you were looking for!
Scoured the internet? Prowled?
Trawled the internet maybe.
I think the word you were looking for is trawled
