I was literally thinking that Grace's hair looks so shiny and amazing at the exact moment when she mentioned her hair is very "fluffy" in a way that implied she did not like her hair.
I don’t think she included that as the US national anthem. The melody for the US national anthem was taken from a British song called “To Anacreon in Heaven”. Since she is not from the US, I am guessing that is the song she overlayed. The melody for “America, My Country, ‘Tis of Thee” was also taken from a British song, “God Save the Queen”.
Congrats on the new laptop Grace!!!! And Durham looks soo beautiful. Those shots (the ones where you didn't add music) were so calming and serene. Loved this!
I never comment on videos but I just wanted to say that I watch your videos while I eat my breakfast before work every morning and no matter what they always bring a little bit of joy to my day! Thank you! ♥️🙏🏼
I go to uni here and it’s easy to forget how gorgeous it is in the stress of exams etc but it’s nice to see someone admire it the way I do. It’s honestly the most gorgeous place. Completely magical

So Grace...my Mother and I are coming to the UK in May and are spending a few days in several cities. We are going to Newcastle but did not have any excursions planned...until now! Thanks to your video, we will be spending a day in Durham! Thanks so much for all your videos. You and your family are such a treasure!
I lived in Durham for four years. It snowed at my graduation too, we slid down a hill because everything froze. I had absolutely no money as a student so never went in any of the places you just visited. But I still enjoyed it very much, absolutely beautiful architecture, visit definitely recommended even if you have to take your own lunch!
It’s so funny watching you in Durham, England when I live very close to Durham, North Carolina, USA (obviously named after it since Raleigh was founded by Sir Walter Raleigh). We unfortunately don’t have the castle-like architecture. Cheers to another lovely video!
I adoreee your videos Grackle 😭 you have helped me so much during hard times. Thank you for sharing your life with us and I cannot wait to be able to travel and go to the places you recommend 💗
Immaculate vibes in this vlog! Was also so lovely to see you enjoyed my home town Durham! Felt surreal watching you visit flat white kitchen, they literally make the best pancakes there!
Eastpak tranverz is amazing, I love it. Great for just me for solo trips but when going away with my boyfriend we share the case as the sides are equal. Built in lock. Very flat for storage space. Straps on the outside to squash it down, but it’s very roomy! Measure the size to find the one for you!
Ahhhh I live in Durham and went to Uni there!! If you ever go back, there's a place called White Church that isn't far out of the town, and there's a woods that is covered in bluebells behind the botanic gardens. I love it because it is close to York and Newcastle and the coast - Seaham is nearby but even Tynemouth and Whitley Bay doesn't take that long. Definitely recommend those places if you ever stay in Newcastle upon Tyne. Sad I didn't bump into you, I walk along the river like every day. I'm glad you had a good time :) xxx
My hard shell was cracked the first time I used it, by the baggage handlers at the airport. But I agree, hard shell is the best, with four wheels, not two.
I had about 1.5 years of clear skin after Accutane before I started breaking out again. Unfortunately for most people it’s not a forever fix and many do a second round of it. My skin is NOWHERE near as bad as it used to be and my spots clear up so much faster, but it really is disappointing!
What an aesthetic city with such beautiful architecture! The building you showed which I think was the college looked like Hogwarts! Gosh how beautiful ♥️
Check out American Tourister for cases! Not cheap but sooo good. And so many colours. When I went to find my case after my NYC trip 3 weeks ago, I spotted it a mile off (ombre pink and purple) which is why I got such a vivid colour. Even spotted it when MAN had out it in the Heathrow flight pile, even though I had flew in from JFK. Praise American Tourister cases wooooo (ok, slightly too excited about my suitcase, but it was its first trip abroad!)
No way!!!!! I've lived here my whole life. So cool to see you up here, Grace, but also sooo strange seeing you vlogging places I know IRL.😁 I hope you enjoyed it!!
Got a bit of a surprise when I looked in my sub box and saw the title! I live in Durham and have done my whole life, it’s so weird to think you were here lol. Hope you enjoyed it!
Durham is local to me. Small but nice. You need to visit Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors railway, York and Skipton and if you visit Richmond I'll come and have a cuppa with you. In fact if you visit York I'll treat you to lunch in Goji. X
Wow so weird I am doing my family history and Durham is where my family were from and Ive never been there and to see it on this vlog was very satisfying has brought my history alive thanks Grace.....just a thought I wonder if Gracktravels is on the cards would love to see more of England or further afield and your freestyle vlogging when you travel and what you actually vlog Im sure Im not speaking just for me is just the things I want to see and hear about a place. Just a thought for some future Grackle content 😉
I’d love to see her explore more of the Uk too. She always seems to have immaculate taste when visiting all over the country. I’m from London and feel like I take for granted all that is right in my doorstep. So I’m trying to do more around London too but definitely love a travel series visiting all over the UK.
The Star Spangled Banner is actually based on the much older " Anacreontic Song", also known as "To Anacreon in Heaven". It was the official song of the Anacreontic Society, an 18th-century gentlemen's club of amateur musicians in London. Composed by John Stafford Smith, the tune was later used by several writers as a setting for their patriotic lyrics---i.e. The Banner.

What is it about Uno and trains? I don't think I have ever taken a long-distance train trip where I didn't encounter a (an?) Uno playing experience. In fact, I can't remember ever playing Uno anywhere else but on a train. I was very impressed by your musical scoring, especially the snippet of The Star Spangled Banner on bassoon or cello, I wasn't sure, but I was quiite impressed. You're becoming a bit of a film maker. The tune is a drinking song from the late 18th century. Other songs like “My Country Tis of Thee”/“God Save The Queen” have interchangeable melodies and it wouldn’t be reasonable to identify them one way or another based strictly on the instrumental music. 4 wheels is a must on a suitcase tbh. Also i would recommend hardshell to keep your items safe.
