    Shame you didn’t go all the way and show how to replace the actual hub seal not just the gasket

    How did you arrive at the correct gasket thickness ?
    In the manual it tells you how to measure up for the correct thickness based on how far the bearing actually protrudes.
    I found on mine that someone had fitted a really thick gasket, which had allowed the bearing outer race to spin in the hub and totally ruined it.

      i simply replaced like for like, if yours has a thicker gasket on then i suggest, you layer up to make it the same, just remmeber to put the sealant between each layer if you do

      not that im aware of, however you can get "hardened" ones from the usual suppliers

    Do you need to drain the differential oil first?

      yes its advisable to do that
