In colorguard season it was the very last performance, last song, last flag everything. Running out from behind the prop the girl behind stepped on the silk, and it ripped in half so I finished the rest of the big flag feature with a half of a silk
The worst part about dropping equipment is that there’s a fair chance of getting hurt in the process lmao. Last year a girl from another school didn’t catch her Sabre and it went straight through her foot. She literally kept dancing with it in her foot since they were near the end of the routine and afterwards hobbled off leaving a trail of blood behind 😀
This is my first year in color guard... Our last "performance" was last night and a toss (prayer) I've never dropped and don't know why I did, succeeded in falling through my fingers.... I also got bruised knuckles, a busted lip (because of braces and the flag hitting me in the mouth,) and too many bruises on the forehead... I relate to this video too much..
as a old school drum corps fan, "marching" color guard is not about dancing and prancing and all the other nonsense, you can do more twirling of rifles and flags while "marching" than dancing and prancing. it's far more impressive that way when you are marching instead doing all the goofy dancing
that feeling when you drop equipment and pretend it wasn't you like "no one saw that. it's fine"
yes, literally!!
Saber is the most terrifying thing and I am so sorry for your loss. 😂😅
Saber can be terrifying at first but it is also really fun!! Haha

props to you for finishing!!! (no pun intended haha)
@@gracew8297 lol I literally did mix of crying and laughing the whole time
Who else flinched when the rifle hit the camera😂

Funny tho: the camera wasn't okay? When the rifle hit the camera
as a matter of fact, the camera did survive without cracks. The music stand is what really took a tumble HAHA
weird question but at 0:54 do you know what song that is? it sounds so familiar
Of course! It's Roses & Violets - Alexander Jean. It was our JV's Winterguard show song that year!
Whats the song at 0:42?
sorry for the very late response! it was a tune from our marching show! i'd have to look back and see what exactly it was haha
@@gracew8297 You’re all good, you dont have to check or anything
She falls after everything it's not that deep

Alot of these clips were from our winterguard season (dancing), but we have a marching season (marching) as well!
