- Application video window film self-adhesive on glass surfaces. In this video we will show you how to properly apply a self-adhesive privacy film on your window. With the right equipment and know how, literally everyone can succeed in applying window films.
With every order of films you place with us in our online shop, you will receive a squeegee and a glass scraper as well as a detailed instruction - free of charge. Although this instruction is elaborate and readily understandable, it usually helps to watch a process in order to grasp it completely. This also applies to the process of applying a window film. Moving images accompanied by instructive text help understand the applying procedure of film on a window pane. The "expert tips" marked with the "thumbs up" sign are especially useful. These valuable tips can't be found in any other instruction manual, but help facilitate the work immensely and bring about a professional result.

The "concentrate" is a concentrate of which substance? Is it rubbing alcohol?
Edit: Never mind. I diluted a bit of liquid soap in the spray bottle as suggested in another video and it worked well.

trouble is everybody says something different - water or water wit soap and tak backing off first or put on window and take backing off ...
Is dish wash soap ok?

Would this cover over hard water stains on shower glass?
Trees Please you would still see the water stain through it. Use toilet bowl cleaner and a green sponge and it will take it right off. The tint will need to be cleaned frequently if applied in the shower because it its hard to get the dry water off of it.
This is the most insane way of applying I have ever seen
IMPORTANT:
To those who think they do not have all those tools.
I applied the same technique but using simple water spray, a school ruler(both for sizing and removing those air bubbles after applying), and a cutter. And i am more than happy with the result right now.
PS: For the size and cutting, everytime i kept the film/sheet on my window and then marked its paper side with a pencil and then i cut. if two or more sections require same size then you can simply copy the size from one that you already have cut.

I'd like to know how to cut the film to size and how much of a gap to leave between the film and the edge of the rubber seal.
David Upton measure the window (inside the frame, without taking the length of the rubber seal and cut a quarter of an inch smaller

It can paste on plastic glasses or not?
I applied this type of film to all my caravan windows. Tips: thoroughly clean the glass. Measure and cut a little larger, use dishwashing liquid and water or plain water spray, slide into place, smoothe bubbles and excess water out, trim excess with a craft knife. Very easy and effective.
I thought about having this for my house but this video changed my mind. I like the idea of it but nah
what about the big bubble you left along the bottom of the window sill that you couldnt get rid of?
MINES HAVE BUBBLES A LITTLE I PUT IT FLAT THE BEST WAY I CAN BUT THE BUBBLES AND STUFF DOESNT SHOW AT ALL FROM THAT OUTSIDE

Hello, I had this installed today but from the outside theres some spots and the guy told me they would away when it dries and I dont know if believe it ! Is this true?
Can I use water and shampoo instead of concentrate
Why do you call the scraper a squeegee at 01:00 and what is in the concentrate? I suspect the meaning is lost in translation and the whole process seems a lot more complicated than the D-C fix video on the same subject

After I buy shutters I will need to remove the film, does it come off as easy as it goes on?

i am going into a new flat and the only drawback is there is an internal window with wired safety glass which looks hideous. i cant remember if it is smooth or textured as i havnt moved in yet. Any ideas on what i could use to make it look better whilst still allowing light through.? Or should i just board it up.

Mine came in a roll. It will NOT stay on window, the rolled edges keep lifting, despite following ALL instructions to the letter!! It will appear perfect, if I return 5 minutes later, it is on the floor!! WORST product I have ever purchased!!
one problem with this video you show how to put film on window glass but you dont show how to cut it to size
maybe because its not easy to cut it
Measure and cut to just a little larger than you need. Trim excess with a craft knife after smoothing all the water and air bubbles out. It is easier than it seems.
too much work involved and guess what, its not going to come off for the next guy that decides your great idea sucks. just use the frost paints. jeeze do you people ever research.
It is easy to peel off. It is easy to apply. Good luck removing the window frosting spray.....and applying it.
