PS - Having run the Great Field, I was taken back by the amount of spectators out. They all clapped every runner around each lap. Great PR, lots of community spirit, run superbly by volunteers....I'm lucky to have quite close to me.
Looks absolutely gorgeous! 😄 Great vlog. Added to my list. Family live an hour away from here, so hopefully will see it for myself one day! Lovely to have Steve's input too here, especially dog-wise. Thanks Danny, Steve and Bertie 💛
A really pleasing watch, you clearly enjoyed it. Nice to see Hampshire tourist Cheryl Booker. Also good to know that tiny Bertie enjoyed himself. I'm in the process of teaching my dog to run by my side on the hand-held lead.
Started watching this... Interrupted by child... 2 days later... Remember to watch the rest! 🙄🤦🏻♀️ Great video of a clearly great parkrun! Hope you've had another brilliant one this week 💛
Talking dogs. Just after Walsall Arboretum parkrun started , The event director’s husband had actually represented Scotland in the commonwealth games marathon. He ran with their dog and was first finisher!
I did #13 there in January, bit nippy then too! You're right, it 's a very freiendly event, and the volunteers cheering you on is much appreciated. The incline, just after the start line, after the 3rd time wasn't appreciated though 😩
the park will be even better as all the new planting grows up and it wont seem like 3 laps of a field because you wont see the runners across the field. Nice Wetherspoons just down the road for breakfast
Fantastic event! Loved it there when I ran last year, one of the few events that went ahead when there were high winds in December. The community feel is brilliant and I agree, it has everything there for a parkrun.
Thanks for such a super positive vlog. This parkrun is definitely one more to add to my to-do list. It was great to see what a super-positive effect that Great Fields had on you. I am well impressed with your sub-30 time, considering that you must have stopped several times along the way to chat to the Marshalls. Take care, and I hope you get a well deserved break soon from all the hard work that you do for our parkrun community.
Looks like a good one! It’s clear that things have been tough for you recently Danny. Be kind to yourself and surround yourself with positive things, even if it needs you to take a break in areas of your life!!
Danny! Blimey mate, you make our tourist lives difficult as here’s another one I have to add to my list… This looks like a brilliant parkrun and I’m really pleased to see how much of a positive effect it had on you. Well done Tiny Steve and Bertie too. One question: when they ask where the tourists are from, do you say your home run of Bushy, or “I’m from everywhere!!!”? 😊
@@WithMeNow that makes sense. We had a fabulous moment at Tuggeranong parkrun in Canberra, where the RD asked where the tourists were from... "Cambridge, England" we said. "Crikey!!!! Can anyone beat that????" :-)
Aw, Danny properly giddy. 💛💛💛

Very lucky!

Thanks Nicky, always appreciate it.

Oh Danny Norman… that vlog made me smile, glad you are feeling reinvigorated!
Thanks Kerri!
Gorgeous, thank you. 💛
Two minutes in and Danny's mood is very Black Eyed Peas "I gotta feeling.... that today's gonna be a good day"
Great to see a Danny smile and how much you loved it 💛
What a lovely place, I've driven past the park but never stopped. I have relations in Dorchester so I think a visit is in order soon!!
Definitely!
I loved the mood that parkrun put you in - great video
Thanks B

Ty. It was good.
Great video Danny & thanks for sharing! That’s great news about Yeovil, that’s once I’ll have to pencil in the diary. 👍
You're welcome as ever!

Looks fab, can’t wait to try it out
Awesome
This video is a serotonin injection - thanks Danny!
Thanks Matthew! Love the description!

Luckily the finish is downhill! :)
@@WithMeNow that's true :)
Thanks for such a super enthusiastic vlog. Looks to be a great event. Speedy Bertie, no wonder he didn't wave goodbye this week!
Tired doge! 😂

Great to meet Susan, the Event Co-Director
Really nice to see you looking relaxed and enjoying yourself. And what a friendly parkrun!
Thanks Katie! It really is.

Thank you, I promise I will do.
Ran this on Saturday 14/05/2022. The last time I was in Dorchester was when I was born there 54 years ago.

Good question! I normally stay quiet but if pushed say Bushy. 😃

@@tonyreeves5083 funny is someone from Glasgow or such was there!
Another fantastic video mate, I have really enjoyed your parkrun journeys. I have a soft spot for parkrun on my channel too 😂
Thanks! I appreciate it!
When are you at Frog Mary Farm Danny?
No concrete plans as yet.
Tiny Bertie is noisy!
Very!
