I'm always amazed at the amount of great trails you have in the UK - and being able to run through privately owned fields, etc. I wish we had that here in New York!!
Yes we're so lucky! Although only 8% of the UK is 'right to roam', which isn't very much in the grand scheme of things, but better than most countries! I'll never take it for granted :)
Absolutely adored this vlog Flora, it was like actually being on a run with you (would love to!!). I know there would have been times where you didn’t feel so fresh, but you don’t half make running look so effortless. I guess it’s your absolute love for the sport and it really shows 🌻 thank you so much for sharing 💚
What a joy to see you enjoy this trail and share you're energy with us. A positive video to begin the week-end and do my 1 hour run in my week of recovery after my last maratrail and before beginning a new week with 4 trainings.
So funny finishing that race!. It looked absoutely stunning. What a wonderful day for it too. Thank you for documenting and sharing Flora. I love that feeling of going downhills too, screaming like a kid!!!!
Man, it would be amazing living near that... especially where you and Fiann can combine your passions for a day out. It was great that you cheered the runners on, congrats to the finishers! Looking forward to your Tribe race!
So I just watched this vlog while I was running and it made my run FLY BY!! It’s like I was running with you on the trail and enjoying the scenery! Thanks so much for running with me!! 🥰
Loved the peaceful vibe of the first half of the run through the park, very nice. But then those open views along the coast were fantastic! Gotta love those false summits 😁
You are such a positive energy, I love watching these videos so much. My family are from Dorset so it's so lovely to see someone love it as much as I do! Gorgeous vibes x
I love watching how much joy you have running down hill! I'm such a chicken, have always been much more comfortable climbing up things! Great video as per usual!
Absolutely brilliant video Flora! I loved it! So nice to see so many of my favourite bits of Jurassic Coast Path and your enthusiasm for the path and your running is infectious!! The Undercliffs bit is incredibly gorgeous. I have only seen it Autumn. I definitely need to get back there soon! Thanks for sharing all the really interesting fossil and nature info too 🤗 Loved it!
Thank you! I always enjoy your videos. I am fairly local yes. I am in Somerset but often nip over to the Jurassic Coast as it’s only an hour away. I tend to walk the paths but trail running them looks so much fun. I might have to give it a go! I run on the roads usually, but luckily countryside ones mainly. I started a channel back in November visiting places in the South West and have done a few coast path videos for the channel. Looking forward to doing lots more in the coming months as the scenery is so amazing and I just love being on the path! ‘Hope your Impact marathon goes well and that training continues to go well for the amazing Tribe Run that you will do 🤗 Looking forward to watching the videos about it all!
Trail events co do some cracking races along the SWCP . Done the ultra a month or so ago and it was fantastic . More Lulworth and Durdle door way . SWCP is such a great place to run and depending on what time of year you go can be so very different as well . When are you signing up for the Arc of Attrition 100 , you will see plenty of Cornwall .
Yes totally! I think I will be entering more races down there to take in more of the coast path. Haha definitely not doing the 100, but tempted by the 50!
What a gorgeous route Flora :)! So impressed at the end of the run you’d still have energy to follow your curiosity about how the race finishes. Looking so strong and prepared for Croatia, I’m sure you’re going to do so well 🤗
Loved this video. Tempted to try this run next time we are staying in Weymouth. My wife and I both ran the West Bay event that day. That was a tough run! Good to see it all again.
Love the undercliffs to Lyme but have only walked it. Just did West Bay/ Burton Bradstock 10k trail event on Sunday. My first run event and my first 10k - involving going up and down East Beach Cliff! Would love to do this route when I’ve got some more kms under my belt. Such a beautiful part of the world. Thank you for sharing. 😊
@@FloraBeverley oh yes!! And I wasn't expecting it to be so hot and sunny!! Such fab views though. It was part of the Beyond Events weekend, hence the markers you saw! 👍🏻😊
Lovely run as always 🙂 I really want to do the Axmouth to Lyme run, it is such a lovely route. Would want to carry on past too to Charmouth and beyond but still not sure I'd survive far after Lyme 🤣 You picked a hell of a day for it, that weather is glorious! Really chuffed you did golden cap this time, what a glorious mound 🥳 Funny you mentioned about trail running and the differences between road, started trail running just before lockdown mk1 and I've been injured far less from running in that time. I still like doing some "speedy" road running but trail is far more fun 🙂 *Hope he found lots of nice fossils
It was so beaut! The run to Lyme is amazing, though onwards to Charmouth isn't the best bit as you have to go inland. But the rest of the route is fab so maybe you could break it up and run each segment separately :) glad you're enjoying the trails, happy running!
Bit late this time, but, as usual, great video and gorgeous scenery! Trying to find my motivation over the last weeks, but I'm sure, watching your vlogs will help 😅
Thanks for sharing! Staying at west bay at the end of May so will get dropped off and run to my accommodation for my Saturday long run, looks perfect trail running 👍
What a great route. Not far from where I live so may give this one a go before the Ham Hill to Lyme Regis ultra in July. I was wondering how fast you’d run down from Thorncombe Beacon. That hill is way steeper than it looks from your footage!
Oh yes the Ham Hill race looks tough! My old coach raced it last year :) According to strava and the segment down from the top, I ran it at 4:11/km and got the course record for women! You're right, it's a lot steeper than my gopro made it look
👏That’s speedy, especially when trying not to fall over!! The Ham - Lyme event is my first ultra. I’m not going for a specific time, just want to enjoy it. Wish me luck! *there is the option to do it both ways, Lyme - Ham - Lyme (100k). For those people who really enjoy the pain.
Hi Flora, great video! The bag you are wearing where could i shop for something similar, im planning to do a half marathon in October and need to get one. Thank you
@possessive - Flora, have you named landmarks on your regular runs that mean only something to you? Like some of mine are Mons Meg, Turkey Foot, and Weathertop (...which is on a downhill single track??).
I've recently started trail running the German Alpes and realized how fun running down hill is. Everytime I am free-wheeling and squealing down I found myself thinking of you 😂
What an amazing route, loved watching 🏃♀️ can’t wait for your next ultra 👍 I need 🤓 to run but I’m forever wiping away my sweat 😓 do you have a similar problem 🙈 help
Well done flora, you’re smashing it! I’ve got my first ultra on the Jurassic coast in may and I know the hills are going to be a killer but hoping the views will help 😂

Good evenning Flora and all the runners. Excellent and helpful video. Here is my like. A nice weekend for everyone. 🌞🏃♀️⛰
