After watching day after day of Dream being Tommy’s “friend” in exile, it just makes this audio so much more chilling and terrifying. I’m so scared of what Dream has planned and the inevitable destruction it’s gonna cause.

Some are saying manipulation. I think it could be Dream was pissed at the heat of the moment and also had to lay down authority once Tommy went against their agreement AFTER Tommy wrecked the King's house.
From what I think Tommy is just another puppet on a string, Take away everything he loves and keep him away from others Dream keeps hanging around and puts Tommy down “Tubbo threw away the compass” “no one wants to see you” “if they cared they would have came to visit you Tommy” Tommy depends on Dream today on stream Tommy looked at Dream and said “what do I do now?” Him slowly being with Dream has made Tommy see him as a friend in one of his videos he says “Is Dream a friend or foe” before Tommy *knew* he was an enemy now he’s thinking about it, from today’s we see Tommy slowly being comfortable around Dream, Dream *knows* he can somewhat trust Tommy since he gave Tommy his trident and let him hit Dream with it when Tommy asked “Can I keep it?” Dream lets him keep it as a gift (edit) might fix some things later
Soon Tommy will fully be Dream’s puppet, at the moment Tommy is half way there can’t wait to see how Dream messes with Tommy (edit 😳) if Tommy realizes what’s happening maybe he’ll run to the Blood god with his Dad or just runaway oh there’s so many things that can happen :D

Well they are. The only thing making them valuable is how much Tommy cares about them. If he lets them go (the same way Dream let Spirit go) they would become no different than any other disc.

The line “don’t try and threaten me” is honestly my favorite line from Dream’s character in terms of how it’s delivered. He sounds so genuinely angry, like he’s furious that Tommy would have the absolute audacity to do what he’s doing. It’s one of his most real-sounding lines in my opinion, and that’s what gives it the extra punch
it does sound very genuine. tommy and dream actually have a good off camera relationship so it's obvious it's just acting but my god it sounds to real

I just realized that when Dream said "Cause you care about the discs more than anyone here" he didn't mean that Tommy has the closest attachment to the discs but he meant that Tommy cares more about the discs than everyone that was there, including Tubbo....I'm sad now :(
Nah. You're ignoring that the discs have a large symbolic meaning which is why both Tommy and Dream are practically obsessed with them.
Dream saying that Tommy cares about the discs more than anything else and Tubbo is bullshit considering how many times he put them aside for everyone he cares about. Even Ranboo explained to Tubbo what the discs mean to mostly everyone on the server.
He said this stuff to further put in conflict between Tubbo and Tommy considering the bond of the two, and the only other thing that helps keep Tommy going on with everything other than the discs is Tubbo.
He gave up two discs in the one of the wars

wow, it does have to be the meaning that Dream intended. I just realized that. Otherwise he would be contradicting himself. He said before that he cares more about those discs than Tommy does. Oh no.
Here's my theory: Dream's character only cares about Tommy's discs because he knows that he can manipulate him with them. He knows Tommy's character isn't afraid to stand up to him for what's right, and therefore, he's a threat. So, Dream wants the discs so he can manipulate Tommy and keep himself in a position of power (like Kanaya's song Marionettes)
Fun fact, dream actually listened to the song... three hours after it premiered and he liked it.

Well now Tommy lost his spark to stand up and now Dream is ALMOST in full control on Tommy's strings, he's basically on his last leg at this point, if he doesn't snap out of it now it'd be too late

That all makes sense, but I think there could be even more to it. Tommy was obsessed with the discs, and somewhat still is. Tubbo has been worrying like crazy and even planned to go to war again just to save Tommy. He’s willing to give it all. That’s what friendship is. It matters more than an object, whether he’s “put it off” or not. But, in his exile, he seems to have been forced to come to terms with the fact that those discs mean nothing. That he cared about Tubbo and L’Manberg and his home more than music discs. Like how Wilbur said- “and what does Tommy love most? Tubbo!”. He’s learning his lesson, and maybe he can make up for it. I know I hope he does. Just my take, though!

Yeah, Dream wasn't wearing any rings at all. From the start of the video, you can see both of his hands. Fundy was the only one with them.

He isn't. He's ruthless for sure, and tends to go for overkill when provoked (which tbh is just smart psychological warfare), but he's almost never the one who throws the first punch and he can definitely be reasonable. When George house was burnt down he asked to exile Tommy but after negotiation reached a settlement with Tubbo to put Tommy on probation. After they all signed it (including Tommy), Tommy tried to blackmail him with Spirit to void that settlment and still get the walls taken down, which lead to the scene in the animatic.

I hate to remeber this moment. It just reminds me that dream has been lying to Tommy. All the wholesomeness, all the kindness hes shown him in the past few days...its all fake.
it's not fake, per se. it's manipulation. he's acting like tommy's friend so he can gain his trust. once tommy trusts him, dream can break him down and isolate him, making him believe he's truly alone and think nobody misses him, not even tubbo. once tommy is dependent on dream and thinks he's all he has, he's become one of his pliable minions, not a friend. textbook gaslighting. absolutely wild and so well done, his behavior on tommy's recent streams has been giving me chills tbh. /dsmp

And Dream (even if he doesnt mean it) is the only person there for him and tommy is so lonely and depressed that he's not thinking straight. He can't see dream's true intentions especially since he's so desperate for attention because tommy has never been alone before. Hes always had someone to have his back and he needs someone. Unfortunately dream is the only one there.
