Beautiful! And excellent camcorder work 😊 We never went on holiday as a kid, but my dad would take us to Newcastle airport to watch everyone else go on holiday, and I loved it. Seeing the planes was magical enough for me, and to see Concorde as well was the icing on the cake. Amazing times ❤️
My dad was high up in the chronicle in the 80's and brought Concorde to Newcastle, I was lucky enough to sit in the cockpit as a young lad and play with all the buttons. Beautiful plane, this video is very nostalgic for me. Thanks 👍
Good old Concorde, a truly unique engineering masterpiece.. The best passanger aircraft in the world, she should still be flying..a wonder to be never seen again.....
What s Really Impressive is that the Concorde needs a much longer runway generally than the one at Newcastle,! Yet, the pilots land it and Fly it out with not even 2/3 of runway used! This tells me that only Noise Pollution was the main reason for it not coming to Newcastle on a regular basis. (These things were as loud as they were fast! )

It’s a shame. BA have expressed interest to restore and fly a Concorde in the future but Airbus (the company that acquired Aerospatiale) have declined any desire to assist.

A TA at my secondary school saw the Concorde take off from Newcastle over his house and he said it was Beautiful

How do you suppose they took off from a short runway? Accelerate harder than normal?
