- I would like to discuss organizing information about yarn, knit & crochet projects, and patterns in this video. I'll talk about the benefits of paper notebooks and apps for this purpose. I'll share my thoughts about Ravelry and explain why I chose Notion. Additionally, I will show you the system I currently use to keep track of information about my projects.

Thanks for sharing - I’ve been interested in Notion but wasn’t sure how to set it up to work for Knitting & yarn. This was helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
grreat video.
i have been trying to find a replacement for Evernote ever since the price skyrocketed last year.
I will try Notion, thank you
Thank you for your kind words! I hope Notion works well for you as a replacement.
Do you store information about your yarn/projects in Evernote?
I also remembered there is an import feature in Notion, so you could move all of your data from Evernote easily
@@ColorPopKnits I have not stored project information, but pictures I have taken for inspiration and other things.
This seems like so much work! Why not just use Ravelry? 🙂
Ravelry is great for this, yes, so it's my personal preferences. I don't think it would be possible to organise my patterns on Ravelry, since I have some I didn't buy there. And I like to keep everything in one place, and Notion is very customisable, so could be used to keep many different things. For patterns, for yarn, and for projects.
I like the fact that I own this information, and no one but me can change/remove it.
