I’ve been doing mosaics for over 20 years, but I have to say watching you, I have learned so many new nuances of the art. I just love your work and appreciate the fact that you share it. Thank you so very much. Gail
Your pieces are looking great and love your pendants and the large Zinnia flower at the end. For me l like to use the Apoxie Sculpt straight away after mixing, l find it handles so well at the start. I only get around 20mins out of it for the best adhesion but others also get longer out of it. 😊
I haven't noticed a big difference by waiting 5 minutes either. I have noticed that it has a shelf life and if Part B starts to go yellowish in the container it is not as big of a work window as a fresh batch.
Absolutely love the big daisy! So gorgeous with the variety of yellows. And of course the jewellery is beautiful. The long one is my favourite. Always a treat to receive your videos each week.
I was just thinking about how I've avoided those petals because they used to "shoot" out of my tweezers. I didn't have that issue this time and I have the same tweezers. I remember thinking that rubber tipped tweezers might help.
Love the big yellow flower- so vibrant! Do you think you’ll seal it? And appreciate all the little added tips and your thoroughness in your descriptions. I know that must take a while to write.
Hi Julie! Love, love, love all your projects in today's video. I bought some pendant blanks and my concern is the sharp edges or the tesserae. Is there anyway to prevent that on these small pendants. I don't want anyone cutting their fingers or while wearing them they snag the fabric on a blouse. Thank you for keeping my mind in a whirlwind of creativity. ❤
I've never had a problem with the sharp edge. It's mostly flat with slight undulations and packed together in the bezel it feels slightly rough. I think there is a way to sand and buff it down if you are really into it, but I've never gone that route.
Absolutely beautiful jewelry. I've never heard of filato before. Such a fun and versatile piece. Tulips are really lovely as is the big flower. Question: what is your source for the "Rainbow Colorants" - couldn't find it on a simple search. Thank you again for sharing your talent and inspiration.
What a great informative fun watch! I'd like to know what material your bazels are made out of, e.g. sterling silver? Also, do you ever grout your mosaics? Thank you! 😁😁😁😁
Yes. Check out the links at the bottom of the video description. I will be having a pendant workshop soon. I usually post the info on Instagram & Facebook.
Such beautiful projects today! That large oval pendant…be still my heart!! ❤️ Have a wonderful Fourth!
Thank you! You too!
The pendants turned out so cute. You have a lot of patience working with those small pieces but it’s worth is. Nice work as usual.
Thank you! Cheers!
These are stunning.❤
Thanks so much!

I absolutely adore all your florals. Thanks Julie.
Glad you like them!
I absolutely 🤍the daisies! Especially the lady bug🐞The last one was beautiful! You are so talented and creative!! Good luck on your exhibit!!
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely lovely pendants, tulips and your USP the sunflower ❤
Thank you Rupa!
I loved the filati flowerettes - I keep wondering how they make these. You should really do a video on that😁
I think it must be flamework. Not in my wheelhouse, but I've seen a demo before.

The pendants are adorable. Hope you had great success at your exhibit!! 💖💖🎶🎶
Thank you! 🤗
That orange yellow grout saved the day. I was afraid that the flat red ruined the work. Great job.
You and me both! It really was brick colored. Meh.
Your work is so amazing!
Thank you so much!
That is so beautiful as is your garden full of beautiful flowers. What an inspiration! It’s gorgeous.
Thank you so much! The daisies are in my neighbor's yard!
I like the gradation of colors involved.
Thanks so much!
Those are the most beautiful pendant. ❤❤
Thank you so much! Cheers!🌻🌻🌻

Love that big zinnia!
I know, right?!? It's a super sparkler.
❤all of the pendants!!
So tiny to work with! Not sure how you do that 😮
You make it all look so easy tho!

Beautifull!🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Thank you so much! 💮💮💮
Those tiny flowers are so great!
They are! Thank goodness for petal filati!
So pretty and inventive.
Thanks so much!

You can never have too many flowers!
Awesome! ❤

What a great video! I love all of the flower pieces! Fabulous work❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
Gorgeous 🎉
Thank you! 😊

Thank you! It is meant as an interior wall hanging so doesn't need to be sealed. There are a bunch of my videos that don't have descriptions at all! 😬

Thank you so much 😊 Karen Sasine has just started distributing them. mosaicmentoring.com/product/complete-colorant-set/
What a great informative fun watch! I'd like to know what material your bazels are made out of, e.g. sterling silver? Also, do you ever grout your mosaics? Thank you! 😁😁😁😁
Thank you! They are sterling silver plated bezels. And yes, I often grout.
With the micro mosaics, does this require a different grout (smaller grit) ? Thanks
@al-ma6347 I typically don’t grout the pendants.
Do you give courses to learn how to make fillati?
No. I learned from Mosaic Arts Online. Rachel Sager has a class called Intuitive Malmischiato where she teaches the basics.
Beautiful. Do you barniz or wax for the jewelry and flower shining finish? The base of the flower, what material is? Thanks for your help.
I do not. I try to put that info in the video description!
Thanks. The base of the flower what material is? It t doesn’t say in the video. 🤔
@elizabethsomoza4879 The bezels are from Amate Studios.
Muy I know where you obtain the class?
I buy the filati from DiMosaico. Some of it I pull myself.
Where do you buy the glass stringers from?
I buy them from DiMosaico.com
Do you teach any classes in the Marietta area?
Yes. Check out the links at the bottom of the video description. I will be having a pendant workshop soon. I usually post the info on Instagram & Facebook.
Can you tell me where to find the rainbow colorant please?
Karen Sasine from Mosaic Mentoring distributes these now. mosaicmentoring.com/product/complete-colorant-set/
Thank you sooooo. Much. I’ve been searching for this for months ❤️❤️
Hard to pick a favorite with all your wonderful pieces. Where and when will your exhibit be?
It is at the Smyrna Public Library until the end of August, 2023.
Where did you find the empty pendants?
I order them from Amate Studios.
@@mazzonimosaics8222Thank you thank you! 🙏🏼 ❤😊
