it actually makes a lot of sense in hindsight. Licorice as a candy has a lot of herbal flavors, which i'm sure some of them are also linked to things like sausage, which is what pepperoni is

I think for the second round, it would be better to give them the correct ingredient combo, and see if they can guess the flavor it makes. I just think it'd be more interesting to see if they can guess the flavor it makes, rather than seeing if they can guess the right ingredient in front of them. Maybe also have the flavor combo as an actual thing they can taste afterwards to confirm or deny if the combo actually works.

I 100% agree this game was set up oddly
It even sounded like Stevie was gonna mix it up after the first round when they had both guessed the right ingredient but not end result, but she didn't.

I loved this format! Only change I'd make is the 2nd part should be giving them the ingredients and making the guys guess what that combo tastes like :) giving them the taste made it too easy IMO.

Y’all trying the cheese curds in caramel AND starting with it, made my day!! I used to work at BDubs and when people would order cheese curds, I’d ask if they wanted to try it with caramel because one of my tables suggested it before. I got my parents on it and now anytime we order cheese curds, we get caramel to go with it!! I’m not so sure it taste like funnel cake… I can kind of see it, but I LOVE it!! Salty and sweet :)

If you do this game in the future, round 1 they give the ingredient they think it is and get a point if they're right. Round 2 they know the ingredient (from round 1) and have to guess what it's supposed to taste like and if they guess correctly they get a point.

It amazes me how powerful the brain is. You form your own thoughts, similar to R&L determining what they thought the combo tasted like, but were swayed when told what it Is meant to last like. It is very interesting yet scary that our brain has the ability to code shift with external information.
