Akilesh Yadav's SP and the courts single handly destroyed all the potential F1 had here imo. They failed to see the benefits F1 brings for the economy and went for taxation which killed it. The upcoming Moto GP race at Buddhh International Circuit will be a good test bed to see if people are interested in Motorsports. The circuit is currently being repaired for the race on 24th September 2023. With India's rising economy, I certainly believe India will again be a potential option for F1 in late 2020s / early 2030s. The information you told about FE is outdated. Audi, BMW, Mercedes have left the championship after 2021 season.
If Moto GP turns out to be popular among Indians then we'll definitely see the F1 in India as well but this is gonna take years to happen. You'll hear some good news by 2030.
@@samyeharshel Yea but that doesn't seem to be the case. Moto GP's budget is much less than what f1 has, so they will not take any risks. So there is no guarantee they will come to India. On the other side, the Telangana government is state funding a new unique race created by them. The first laps were in Hyderabad and the race was pretty good. The barrier for entry unlike f1 is around 60lakhs and they focus more on turns and takeovers than speed so the race will also be fun and entertaining. Give it a watch, it is good.
@@przmusix4760 its formula e brother which is also governed by fia..anyways india lags a lot in terms of automotive infra plus the govts can never really understand the mindset,,aprart from giving freebes
With our rising economy & high number of new fans from Netflix's Drive to Survive (Series on F1), I certainly believe that India will atleast be back in discussion for F1 race around 2030. Moto GP tickets sales will certainly be a good indicator if India wants motorsports or not.
F1 being in india would be 100 times better if they did it now. very few people had internet back then and it will be an absolute different thing now with millions of Indians watching live 📈
Bro... If The race ground length is 5 km, and 70-80 laps occur the distance is too much - An average train in India will take 6-8 hours for completing the distance ☠️☠️☠️
Great video but watch at our country's condition where new innovation like Ai and most recent india landed on moon with the chandrayaan3 launch so much is been spent over those things while on the other hand Motorsport promotion in India is been a passive thing . I hope our government will soon change their view about Formula 1 and racing
Yaha pe drivers apna life risk pe de kar race karte hai aur government ne "Entertainment" bolke tax laga diya.😢😭 Mujhe bohot gussa aata hai aisa government pe🤬🤬
The title should be "Why Formula 1 kicked out INDIA"

The car in your thumbnail is a World Endurance Championship (WEC) Hypercar from Porsche. Its not an F1 car.
Probably trying to milk views in the name of F1 without knowing anything
Will never come back...😢

Only and Only Akhilesh responsible for that ....very shameful....this type of politicians are biggest hurdle in India's growth.

Akilesh Yadav's Single handly destroyed F1 future in india...shameful ...His party comes running for a pie in every good project and destroys it
