Easily a new favorite lp... the gems just go on and on and on.. that sound!!!! Great for putting on when trying to sleep. Actually, I think Ray Anthony and orchestra were better than Glenn Miller.
My father had this LP for years and when he gave it to me, I totally fell in love with its sweet music. I'm going to buy another one because the first one has a lot of surface noise. This is the best album for me!
Oh, the many times I played this album. In fact, I ended up buying two Lps because the first one picked up pops and clicks and surface noise from playing it so much. This was my first experience of what I call, a real song medley. I can only assume the genius at Capitol records was able to join all these songs to make it sound like they played straight through. It worked whatever took place. Beautifully done and top arrangements. Ray, you were at your best, as you are on many of your albums that you released. So many years have gone by since I last heard this album. You are a man after my own heart.
