Nice job. Nice timelapses, especially the first one. Food for thought and some of my own DIY Nikon replacement battery notions. Thanks for posting, and the good humour. Subscribed!
Hi man, can you please share all the links of the products you have for the DSLR, Including the adapter used as a external battery and the power bank
I love the video, I just wish you could detail all the different items
Not bad! :O
I actually ordered BatteryBank charger for my Nikon. It only charges the battery at 5v but I'm always using 2 batteries so while I'm using the other the empty one is charging.
Great video and funny too! :)
LoL.. can you tell me model no. Of that battery bank charger ! Your idei sounds much simpler !
Hey man how many hiurs do you get with that external battery
Excellent video.
Yeah, that's exactly how I like to unbox my new hard drives... brutal! Especially the toss, the foot action, and the spill. Fun!
This was an awesome tutorial and funny to. Great job. ✨👍🏼
+Steffe Lindman Media thank you a lot :D will do my best in the future :)
Give me the purchasing link this kit. Please sir, it's our humble request.
The Video was informative and interesting. I got the XTPower and also a dummy load battery and it worked together well without having to make a connector and having to solder. But it was nice to see how you did it. Using just one hand to open the package drove me crazy! I know you had to use the other hand to work the camera but it was difficult to watch, lol.
+Antonio Rivera thanks :D it was very fun to handle that package one handed
A professional job..
the dslr nikon 9v works ? the original batery is 8.4 v . is necessary to lower the voltage?
greetings from Argentina
+Martin Albornoz hi Martin :D the battery is 8.4v but the DSLR works perfectly at 9v, its even written on the bottom of the camera :) so no voltage drop needed
How many Amps the battery is rated for ? (at 9V)
I like the way you unbox
Amazing video!!
+WildPacifikMind thank you :D
I hit subscribe right at the 'oooh' when the battery got picked up for the first time.
Great diy job! Oddly tethertools and atomos actually sell dummy batteries and usb adapters :P
camera battery is 7.4V usually and your power bank is giving 9V is it safe to operate your camera with higher voltage ? please reply
Gostaria de saber também, pois tenho uma câmera Nikon p510 e a bateria dela é de 3.7v e gostaria de ligar no banker de 5v se não for estragar
What if the output is 9.58v as measured in multimeter is it safe to use without damaging the camera ? Camera rated at 7.2/9v
for me this mvoltage is a bit high. i won't use it because a camera is an expensive piece of gear to burn...
Omg! Great video! Loved the lapse of the clouds! Did you shoot with intervalometer or just recorded a video?
at that time i have just recorded a video. now i know hot to shoot propper time lapse with an intervallometer
Anyway to make a battery like that but diy (and not spending 50$ on it)?
there is a way... i'm trying to make a good system so it is a work in progress
My simpler solution was to buy 2 off brand batteries with a USB double canon battery charger for 20 bucks on amazon and have it in my backpack with my 20 000 mAh usb Powerbank
Whenever the battery in my dslr is empty, I swap it with one of the charged ones in the charger and that's it.
Much more practical as you don't have a wire but I get that your solution is perfect for things like timelapses
isn't danger that 7volts is required for dslr and the battery pack is 9volts...thanks!
Could this work with a Nikon D5500?
+KoKuTanAlec yes!
you've earned a sub
+farhanz rez woooohooo!!! Thanks man :D
Can you link to the 5v to 9v cable?
+Anuj Sahakari yes
Z6?
Power bank price
That battery is a bit expensive, you could get a 20,000mah 5v bank off of ebay for less then half the price and add in a 9v step up converter, which is what i think im going to do (and also use it for a homemade automated slider).
I did not know the d3300 accepted 9v at the beginning of this video (i should have looked on the bottom).
Thanks!
+Grim187 agree with your idea! Its amazing and you won't have the problem of automatic shut down of the battery. I recommend you to connect the voltage booster directly to the battery and not to the 5v output, you will increase the efficiency. My later idea was to make a 7,4v lithium battery and connect it directly. Anyway good work and make it better!
dude you should get a dc coupler with usb, i'm making video this week for it. nl.aliexpress.com/item/8-4V-USB-Cable-LP-E17-DR-E18-DRE18-DC-Coupler-Drive-by-DC-5V-Power/32685627871.html?
Will the DC 5V to 9Volt USB converter have enough power to operate the camera ?
Great video man, I have a questiom. What is this wiered type of battery called?
+Jasenko Stojakovic (Jason) its a power bank
Okay, I didnt formulate my question well, hahaha.
I found this for my camera, its a wiered dummy battery with a DC jack, but i cant find anywhere how to use it or anything simmilar...
www.ebay.com/itm/NP-FW50-Encoded-External-Battery-DC-Dummy-Pack-Fr-SONY-NEX-Camera-A3000-A5000-/111975647343?hash=item1a1244c86f:g:2ogAAOSwubRXFvbE
+Jasenko Stojakovic (Jason) of course it depends on your camera. Usually this dummy battery is used with an external power brick to have power from the wall. In the beginning i was searching too, but nothing. I had to improvise

+Gabriela garda lake, italy
Dici che funziona anche per la 3200? Ah belle le riprese del lago di garda!
+Teusz54 se butta fuori 7.4-9v vabbene
How many retakes for this or you Pro?
hahahaha not so pro, 3 to four takes, depends on the complexity
Afraid to try. lol
Good idea... How long does the battery last @ 1080 recording
Only if u know what u doing though....
at least 8 hours
Che obiettivo hai montato sulla reflex? 🙂
+Ale99041 dipende... Uso un 18-55 e un 50mm

if you cut the wires off you could make that wireless
+rachid khassal hahahahahaha
TESLA coil!
Mi sembrava di riconoscere questi posti :) haha. Ciao dal Trentino
hai riconosciuto giusto :D
Too funny but nice
How long does it last? :P
+217awsome hi! I get about 8 hour of footage out of a single charge :D the annoying thing is that you need to turn on the battery every time before having juice for the dslr
Is this Lake Garda?
+Tamás Németh yep
thanks
3:39 "heat tubing fisrt, then solder. Not viceversa" does the exactly the opposite
Uh, position heat tubing first, then solder the wires. How would you get the heat tubing on, after you solder? o.O
Using 9 voltage for 7.4v camera ? No way.
0:21-0:31 when you try to be HowToBasic but can't
+Nicholas Amaro but can't...
...Yeah, but you can not because you are not. It's simple english
Should have gotten a canon dslr
+Orchestra Fanatic (Bob) agree... Their lens are cheaper and have more compatibility
How to make 2?😂😂😂
Hulk Smash🤣🤣🤣🤣
y not just get a dummy battery that already has the correct end? You big dummy...
Jeez get to the point. These weird comedy scenes are cringey af.
+jared robinson good point. Will make something different
