You are seeing so much of this great country. Away from the interstates. Real Americana. There is still a lot of good left here and you are finding it for us! As the song says, "America is still safe and sound". Real nice reminder for us all. Thank you! Be safe! Texas is calling you. Don't be late!

It is sad to see all of those businesses shut down. That's what America used to look like and I can remember a little bit of what it used to be like. The Oklahoma memorial was sad , especially the children. I remember when that happened too. I loved the museum too. Thank you guys for taking us along. Stay safe out there !!

Hey Will, I was passing threw Oklahoma & Texas with a Friend going to Arizona back in July 2019, and we passed Trucks with those Wind Mill Blades on them. It was an awesome site to see them on those Trucks! Also i saw a bunch of them Wind Mills out in the Fields running!
Sad to see that old abandoned motel. It would be great if those old places could be restored. That is a piece of history. The memorial was very nice. Enjoy your ride. God bless.
Beautiful peaceful memorial love that old diner lots of busy tile work😵 lol ...Be sure to lock those car doors even if your not walking but a few steps away at that old abandoned hotel I could just see someone running over and taking your car 😆 and you catching it all on video🤣😂 stay safe while smelling the roses🌹🌹🌹😊👍
The Memorial was nice to see, so sad but a nice tribute. Thanks for showing it. Too bad a lot of old buildings are going to the wayside. Look forward to Texas
Sad to see that old hotel in such disrepair. Was nice in its day, I am sure. Thank you for showing us the Oklahoma memorial. I have never seen that. Get some rest. I love being on this trip with you guys. Be safe. And thanks for taking us all along. 😊🐻
Thank you for showing the Oklahoma City bombing site and memorial. That was very touching and, unfortunately, an event that a lot of people have already forgotten about. Keep up the great work with the vlogs! Loving them!!

1994 - Amarillo TX, we got to view the honeymoon suite at the Big Texan. It was over the top with cow skins, cow horns, texas longhorn horns, wagon wheels, etc. It was awesome but extremely "big texan flavor"
We are enjoying watching your trip and always looking forward to your next stopping place. It is so sad to see old Route 66 disappearing. Thank you for bringing us on your trip with you.
The cotton BOLLS are the raw cotton that is harvested and turned into refined cotton BALLS. The boll weevil would destroy the cotton crops, but the boll weevil has been mostly eradicated.
Will and Dawn so thankful that you two are doing this trip and sharing it with all of us. I am one who is very well aware of people being protective of others and Will when you told Dawn to be careful at the Motel....it just showed how much you Will care for her, Dawn, Love her and what a Gentleman You are. I appreciate You for that. You both are very dear, so stay safe, have lots of fun and excitement! Love Ya Both 💌
Sad businesses have to go out of business, because no one wants to stop and smell the roses anymore. They rather get where they are going 60 or 70 miles an hour on the interstate.love watching your videos
Great Video, well you can think what these motels were like back in the day, clean friendly family friendly. Nice little places to get something to eat in town.👍❤️🦋
Watched the video on the smart tv in our rental in Sevierville. I wish I was where you are. Traffic here is horrible. I can't believe how busy it is. Drove to English Mountain today and turned on Blowing Cave road. That was a terrifying experience. Been coming here for 40 years and I tnink it's time to find some where less busy.

Those are called wind turbines. They use the wind to create electricity. Windmills used wind to crush grain or pump water. The last museum you went into was rather interesting. You can tell that they put some money into it. That abandoned motel was rather creepy.

Those are Motels. When you can see the rooms from street they are called Motels which means Motor Hotel.
so sad people disrespected that beautiful classic hotel😒
How are you doing Will and Dawn
I am pretty sure the man on the screen at the museum with the mustache is the inspiration for the sheriff in “Cars”.
That new Mexico road photo is probably really what you'll get. New Mexico roads are horrible.. and alot of route 66 through it is gone.
I just saw that yesterday was Bonnie Hunt’s (Sally from “Cars”) birthday.
You missed the dinner in the Pink Elephant at Livingston Illinois. Besides all the stuff on the outside there is a great dinner with a 66 theme on the inside.
Are you in New Mexico yet, I know these films are like two days behind
