I have huge amounts of respect for this man. His downfall as a politician has been his unrelenting determination to stay principled. The man has never been racist, nor a xenophobe, but his words have been used against him in abhorrent ways. He sees the world for what it is, and isn't afraid to say it how he sees it. Unfortunately politics doesn't work like that. Irrespective of whether or not I would've actually voted for Corbyn as PM, it should be universally acknowledged that the very insular sphere of politics needs thoroughly good and decent, principled people like Jeremy. Hat off to the bloke, because democracy survives through people like him.

Great interview. Only issue I have is his complete opposite stance in Scotland, he LISTENED to the team who hated him and didn't listen to the Scottish people. The party is now basically dead in Scotland and I can't see how they can get back. Not his fault, but he should have stuck to his principles, demanded that democracy prevailed. Look at us now - denied democracy we voted for in 2017 and 2019. Jeremy has recently made his feelings known on this and I thank him for that.

England (& also Wales') politics is closer aligned to the SNP (I'm not an SNP fan), the Scottish Labour Party are in govt with the Tories, when would you ever think a Council Area that Labour have a vote less than the SNP, their first move has been to run to the Tories to get into power. Check Edinburgh Council and North Lanarkshire Council for starters! I cannot ever see that happening down South in Wales or England - Principles in Scotland = 0. Also, there is no such thing as Scottish Labour, Scottish Labour is not a separate entity. In political terms UK Labour = Scottish Labour = Welsh Labour. Electoral Commission says so.

There is more insight and political thought in Jeremy's little finger than in the whole wooden body of Keir Starmer. Unfortunately due to the usual antics of the Establishment and their allies in the Fourth Estate we have been deprived of the chance to radically change the status quo.

As a life long supporter of the Labour Party in my 60s it breaks my heart that Jeremys chance to lead a Labour Party to become the elected Government to deliver a truly socialist manifesto was scuppered by corrupt agents both within & outside the Labour Party. Starmer will get my vote very begrudgingly as they have got to better than this toxic Tory Government with the hope that Starmer can subsequently be sidelined. My worry is that outrage this scandal has rightly caused many Labour supporters will loose Labour votes & God help all of us that aren’t wealthy if the Tories get in again
