    This video is the perfect example, of why A2A's products go from a “mere” simulation, to very much behaving like a living / breathing / “organic” piece of machinery. Nobody does “feel” better than A2A and it’s great to see the passion and dedication involved (towing a Comanche around with a 4x4 haha!). I know many of us are very excited to see the team making their debut in MSFS and for those who’ve yet to experience the A2A magic, you’re in for a real treat!
    Happy flying and keep up the great work guys! : )

    Here's to a strong future for A2A on the platform. The A2A level of detail and fidelity is simply not available elsewhere in GA addon aircraft. Here's hoping that Microsoft / Asobo continue to develop their platform to ensure appropriate developer support as necessary. For the more simulation orientated in the community, this is the news we've waited for. :) I rarely recommend products but for GA, I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a quality GA flight sim experience. I have ONLY flown in VR since the early days of the DK2, and was never able to figure out how to get the walk around to work in that environment. With the stronger audience of VR users now, can I hope you've provided a clear path toward enjoying that step from our point of view?

    One of my gripes about the sim has been the smoothness. You can fly hundreds of miles without so much as a bump or ripple of wind on the airplane. As you mentioned it's rarely that smooth in real flight, especially in a small single engine plane. I'm glad you've taken that into consideration and have actually simulated it. This is literally going to put other GA aircraft for MSFS to shame. Incredible. For airliners people will ask "Is it as good as the Fenix?", "Is it as good as the PMDG?", in GA people will be asking "Is it as good as the A2A?", it will become that highest bar that others will try to reach for, but few (if any) will ever be able to reach! I have really enjoyed A2A since the FS2004 and FSX days with the old warbirds, I really hope that now when Accusim is finally revamped for MSFS that the Comanche is only the first of many A2A aircraft!

    As a simmer since 1985 (DI Tomahawk, DI Tornado etc), I got fed up with Flight Sim and switched to XP11 and DCS where the aircraft felt right. MSFS still doesn’t do it for me, PMDG is pretty good, but having owned the 250 for FSX, it was amazing, MSFS has been caught up in the amazing GFX since release, that’s what’s made Asbo the money. Hopefully this new release gets me back into it and shows other developers that the right feeling is possible. The same was as Rob Young (was that his name?) did so with his amazing RealAir aircraft. Most of you will be too young to have experienced what aircraft should feel like to fly in a sim, especially if you have never tried DCS. Fingers crossed this is a winner, can’t wait!

    Absolutely phenomenal simulation. So many tiny details that aren't even "necessary" like seeing the sun visor shaking with engine vibration or from touchdown. Most developers seem to take a "close enough" approach to simulated aircraft modeling and immersion and wind up feeling very... sterile. But it's very clear that you guys are going above and beyond to make a wonderful addition to the sim! I hope that when 2024 releases, this will be easily transferable without a bunch of re-writes being necessary for the code!

    Very impressive to get a realistic spin out of a flight sim airplane!

    • @ShockwaveProd
      @ShockwaveProd  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It's 100% organic, meaning, this is just as Accu-Sim tells us. I (Scott) don't like spinning airplanes because it gets me sick (can't ever do those spinning rides at amusement parks, but love the roller coasters). But the physics at play is awesome. Accu-Sim is a REAL SPIN. Nothing faked, scripted, just real things going on that produce a spin. The same with weight and balance. That is another huge aviation experience that Accu-Sim answers so well.

    • @einherz
      @einherz ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ShockwaveProd heh, real flight makes me sick, what to say about spin... but i love simulators, and spins(normal controllable, uncontrollable, flat, inverted, inverted flat, not spin, but falling leaf by longitude axis(didn't see x axis falling leaf in simulators so far), lost controls at overcritical aoa without spin but glide at 60*), in them:) and i love buffeting at speed and at stall... ah and use propeller to start spin and for recover from spin depend of direction:)

    I have flown it for a little bit and let me say WOW! First, I have to say it is incredibly well optimized for the sim. I was flying out of my local airport KFDK and flying out to Baltimore and I was pulling 160-170 FPS so there was no impact on performance like I have seen with other aircraft that kill FPS. Second, in VR with my HP Reverb G2 it is breathtaking, again NO PERFORMANCE LOSS and everything is crisp and clear. All the instruments are clear and readable. Even the gages on the Copilots side are crisp and clear and readable from the pilots side. Now it is time to dig into the manual and get the most from this amazing product. Anyone reading this, if you are on the fence about buying this I can not recommend it high enough.
